Acronis Disk Director 12

I made a plugin for Acronis DiskDirector 12 based on the nice 2aCD plugin for DiskDirector 11

Acronis DiskDirector is an easy tool for harddiskdrive-management.

Features:

• resize, split and merge volumes
• create, convert, copy and move partitions
• support for x86 and x64 sources
• the script support version 11.0.216...2343
• also run as shell only (without other shell for minimal cd)

Requirements:

you need an installed version on one PC to import the license key


Confirmed working with:

• Win7PE_SE
• Win8PE_SE
• Win8.1SE

It is recommended to download the latest version from Acronis website.
Script is required in addition the WinPE Program Folder.
Copy WinPE32.zip file from the following folder:

on x86: c:\program files\common files\acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE
on x64: c:\program files (x86)\common files\acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE

to your BuildPC and select this folder inside the script.
Then copy the REG_SZ-Data from following regkey:

on x86: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\acronis\DiskDirector
on x64: Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\acronis\DiskDirector
Value: enterprise

and put it into the textbox. If you install Acronis Diskdirector on your BuildPC, you can import the serialnr. with script.
And now you start build.

Note that WinPE32.zip is used (not WinPE64.zip), it remains compatible with x64 build.

As for 2aCD's TrueImage plugin, it should be possible to make a plugin compatible with the 2 versions. I have not done.

Added features and compatibility things, tidy up, merge etc , follow your and 2aCD codes,

it works nicely on Gena x86 and Gena x64
If feel creating other Acronis plugins now easier with WinPEx86-x64 zips ( without Wow6432Node\ ;) )

Besides not being an Acronis fan, it is good feeling seeing it is still working on Gena nicely 


I know I start from scratch only copying codes around, I may miss things,
 I feel to put this baby to server, it looks really nice to me now,
   after you check, do anything you like, I went very quick to finish this...

After receiving your plug in to use WinPe32 & WinPe64.zip for Acronis Disk Director 12.  I worked on it using
a script created by Chris and 2aCD  Acronis True Image. I put all Acronis True Image 15 64 bit and 14 32 bit
that had the ability to accept 2 different license's.  I also change the file name in the zip of x64 from files64 to files.
I didn't know if I had to do that but followed your script.   Here is the link. Your help is invaluable.

I did best I can to sum up all things (Mark, 2aCD, syntax clean, new requirements,  etc...),
 I feel now good enough,
  I put to server
Gena\Apps\HD Tasks\Acronis Disk Director_WinPE

I feel same plugin should work both with v11 and v12 , Well I didn't test v11

See how it works, I feel it is also nice to put on SE too

Was unable to send a personal message so just posted it here.
I saw that you post your two great plug-in for add files.  I took a intensive look at both programs and ran both in
32 bit form and 64 bit form.  I made a couple of corrections do in part from the information that I gave you. 

I also change the file name in the zip of x64 from files64 to files.

So I did a little rework and everything seems to work as expected.  You will probably notice everything that I did but
if you need any info don't hesitate to e-mail me.  Didn't want to post as I am new to this forum and you are leaps
and bound very advanced in programming. Also I just wanted to say what a great help you have been to me.

I guess I understand all things, new plugins on server,
no need to rename files64 to files 
Further both plugins now work nicely on wow64 too
--> I mean dd11x86 on x64 build,
           I tested dd12x86 on Genax64 and ti2014x86 on Genax64, both working nicely,
            just rename winpe64.zip to another thing on a x64 build,
               ps: for ti2014x86 on x64, use x64 .sys files (to its folder ;) ) from DD12, this is an unexpected thing ;) ...

I made various changes, ti provide folder fixed, your instruction added both on ! also provide files button extracts..... etc..

All work and credits to 2aCD, I only made some organisations to increase flexibility....
 hopefully next versions of ac work out of box on plugin  only hoping

Anyway, Let's see what your sharpe eyes notice 




edit: ah, and if you want to high compress, just compress with 7z but keep extension .zip  also written at instruction....
also check instruction (via ! or Provide Files) ...

Added additional features. Also added extra line to be compatible with A0MEI Backupper,
as one key would over-write it.  Probably there is a better way?

No Acronis DD 12 in live modus

I have installed Acronis DD12 with the script from Lancelot from January 09, 2015. But in live modus there ist no such app. In the program folder of the stick there is a subfolder Acronis >DiskDirector.

What shall I do?

My Disk Director 12 and 11 are 32bit editions. So I have to try it with Win8.1PESE.

Reworked DiskDirector to be more compatible with Acronis
True Image in installing x86 program in 64 bit system.

I can't get this plugin to work.

I have Acronis DD 12 installed on the computer where I am running WinBuilder

I have imported the installed key

I have copied across the WinPE64.zip

According to the log file (attached) there are files not found, but I don't know which files are not being found.
