Acronis DiskDirector is an easy tool for harddiskdrive-management.

Features:

  • resize, split and merge volumes
  • create, convert, copy and move partitions
  • support for x86 and x64 sources
  • the script support version 11.0.216...2343
  • also run as shell only (without other shell for minimal cd)

Requirements:

you need an installed version on one PC to import the license key

Confirmed working with:

  • Win7PE_SE
  • Win8PE_SE

It is recommended to download the latest version from Acronis website.
Script is required in addition the WinPE Program Folder.
Copy the following folder:

on x86: c:\program files\common files\acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE
on x64: c:\program files (x86)\common files\acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE

to your BuildPC and select this folder inside the script.
Then copy the REG_SZ-Data from following regkey:

on x86: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\acronis\DiskDirector
on x64: Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\acronis\DiskDirector
Value: enterprise

and put it into the textbox. If you install Acronis Diskdirector on your BuildPC, you can import the serialnr. with script.
And now you start build.

Download (v14): * Acronis DiskDirector 11.7z (1116.12 kB - downloaded 749 times.)

Hi Everybody,

I have update the script to v14. Now i use FileCopyBiggerVersion (if its available) for copy driverfiles.
Thanks Lancelot for the macro :embarrassed:. So it's prevent to overwrite newer existing drivers.
Have you more then one Acronis-scripts the order now does'nt matter.

Best Regards

Based on your nice plugin for DiskDirector 11, 2aCD  , I made a plugin for Acronis DiskDirector 12  for those who have this latest version.
It should be possible to make a plugin compatible with the 2 versions but I have not done.

Acronis DiskDirector 11 doesn't start

When I start Acronis DDS 11 in live modus it says
"V:\Programs\Acrinis\Diskdirector\ManagementConsole.exe"
"Das zum Unterstützen des Abbilddyps erfoderliche Subsystem ist nicht vorhanden." (The nessesary subsystem doesn't exsist)

What did I wrong?

Sorry for taking so long to answer

Looks like you're trying to run this in Win10PESE 64bit?
Unfortunately, this PE version doesn't support 32bit applications.

If you really want DD11, looks like you'll have to build a 32bit PE, or use Win8.1SE/8PESE/7PESE 64bit (they *do* support 32bit on 64bit, Wow64).

Or you have to use a different disk manager.

Hi balbulus,

which plugin you used ?
how did you add Acronis 11 to your PE ?

plugins don't let you get Acronis 11 x86 on Win10x64 ...

Thanks for your advises.
My Disk Director 12 and 11 are 32bit editions. So I have to try it with Win8.1PESE.
