Hi Lancelot,

ok, included in the next script version.

But due to your suggestion I found a typo in the english interface:
en_GB instead of en-GB

Hi CD-RW,

It is better to draw a line (probably bevel) where a LSP-Script settings finish
eg. "Help", "Start" buttons are not part of a LSP-Script (Interface)

Here is a small idea to draw line :

LSP Current v1.1.6.2:
ila_rendered

LSP - Draw Line - Idea 1 :
ila_rendered

Since my hands were dirty I continue with other ideas:

LSP - Draw Line - Idea 2 :
ila_rendered

LSP - Draw Line - Idea 3 :
ila_rendered

LSP - Draw Line - Idea 4 :
(Language added + small changes with locations that to me fits better)
ila_rendered

Idea 1 would be hopefully easy to implement,
Idea 4 looks better to me. (my vote to Idea 4)

some reasons:
+ Most (%99) applications Main Settings are at top
Eg. Explorer.exe -> File-Home-Share .... Pin to Quick access-Copy-Paste ... they are all at up.
+ Most (%99) applications help buttons are at top-right (or at top-most right ofFile-View ..... )
+ It is a  lot better Language option visible on LSP Main UI

*
With all ideas, there will be line between "LSP-Script settings" and "LSP Main" Settings.  :great:

and It will be nice MaineCoon to create LiveSystemPro Picture tutorials with pictures using updated UI.

---->
I forgot to mention a reason with Idea 4:
+
and most applications do their main operation button at somewhere top-left
eg. Notepad -> File-Save (File at very left-top)
eg. CodeBlocks -> File-Save and Primary Operation Build-Run ---> Since LSP-Main UI do not need File-Save logically Build-Run equivalent Start to the very top-left.

Hi CD-RW,

Another request which I believe I had made some years years ago but probably forgotten :
Minimize is missing with ShellExecute
ShellExecute,<Action>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>]
Action
Show = Process will be shown
Hide = Process will be hidden

no Minimize available as far as I can see.

There is a workaround I use a lot on my side, but It is better LSP have a native Minimize.

eg. Create ISO

You will notice I already Create ISO minimized on my side for years, no need "pop up " cmd window for creating iso.

Better say you will not notice any new window during build on my side, all minimized.

I also use other places.
On many conditions with project build, It is better than hide:
1) user can see if there is failure. eg. create iso
2) user not interrupted with a popup window (like cmd) --> most annoying
3) user can change or view things of a minimized task .... (long story) sometimes no need to hide from end-user, in fact, I prefer better available.

As I wrote, I use minimize with a workaround for many years now,
Instead of posting a workaround with LSP,
better LSP has the native option the way you like.
It is available since Windows 3.1 I guess (I start with Windows 3.1), or probably before.

Hi Kare,

Small thing with update center:

As seen from the picture (Left of the picture "LSP Main UI" - the right of picture "Update Center"):
ila_rendered

Left Tree-View "LSP Main UI" sort files first, and later directories.
Left Tree-View "Update Center" sort files and directories with name only,

This way It is sometimes confusing to find things quickly ...

I believe It is better "Update Center" do the same with "LSP Main UI" and sort files first, and later directories.

*
Reminding:
On update center,
Image3 LSP-Scripts have missing Server Version and Date info (eg. 7zip V 9.x as seen on picture)
Image1 and Image2 LSP-Scripts show Version and Date correct,
so the only problem with Image3 LSP-Scripts which I believe easy to fix.

Update Script: Postconfig

Programversion: --
Scriptversion: 007
Server: Finish\

Note
- Fixed bcdedit.exe filecopy error

Support: Win10PE

Script available in the Update Center.

@Lancelot

Yes you are right. The sorting is different. mmmmmh maybe change it.
Version and Date is a not a bug. This is only a language file.

Hi Kare, MaineCoon

Official WebSite - LiveSystem-pro link not working out of the box with Firefox (Certification address mismatch)

A small fix required, links should be without www.
+
I also like to fix "Based on" text on Project.cfg/.man of some projects since "TheOven" alone has no meaning.
I update text following MergePE text with adding .org also added link to TheOven.org

Attached updated Project.cfg/.man of MergePE Win7PE Win8PE Win10PE WinXPE with link fix + "Based on" text and link update + version= increased. (I test with English and German UI, all look fine to me)
Simple compare will show you all small changes (WinMerge etc.)

Shortly: All cooked well ready to upload.

Hi Kare,

Small thing about Update Center,

Image 1and Image 2 LSP-Scripts :
When exists and no need update: Text is Pink

Image 3 LSP-Scripts
When exists and no need update: Text is Black

-->
with Image 1and Image 2 LSP-Scripts
When exists and no need update can you change "Text is Pink" to "Text is Black"

==>
This way there will be color match with all LSP-Scripts on Update center --> there will be no confusion caused by color mismatch --> and pink is not easy to read.

I feel it will be easy to only change Pink to Black on the code side.  :great:

Hi Kare,

With UpdateCenter Getting \Apps\Graphics\"IrfanView" LSP-Script Fails.

Checking more:
LSP-IrfanView4.57.zip downloaded successfully, but when extracting it gives:
Quote
CRC failed: IrfanView4.57\Plugins_russian_64.7z

Here I have at .\Temp\Download\LSP-IrfanView4.57.zip
Size: 63,897,600 bytes (60.9 MB)
MD5: 156F6B87FAEF81EFF586B8055F0EA05C
SHA-256: 1563F07C1A07AC80C90F3F8BA88C53DB18F87CE31FA89453EB563E0EC6D12D7D

I guess LSP-IrfanView4.57.zip needs to be fixed on the server-side,
so extraction will continue with success. :great:

Hi Kare,

When \Apps\Office\"Adobe Reader XI lite" LSP-Script downloaded,
It comes with \Apps\Office\Skript\"Avira PC Cleaner" LSP-Script

ps: check inside LSP-AdobeReaderXILite.zip

I guess "Avira PC Cleaner" LSP-Script should not be inside LSP-AdobeReaderXILite.zip
and probably there should be an LSP-AviraPCCleaner.zip
be on the server at somewhere like ..\Apps\Security\AntiVirus\"Avira PC Cleaner"

Hi Kare,

similar to my previous Reply 73
on update center there is
WinXP PE -> Customize\"WallPaper / Display" LSP-Script
but no checkbox to download.

I believe you put
WinXP PE \Customize\"WallPaper / Display" LSP-Script
Win7PE    \Shells\"OwnShell" LSP-Script
to projects with zip distribution,
but you forgot to put them to server.

Hi Kare,

one more last one :

WinXP PE
Customize\"Boot Screen"

Server version always v4
Downloaded version always v3
-->
so after download, it always appears with green text saying "new version available"

:turtle:

@Lancelot

Thanks for the info. Now to your findings.

Shells\"OwnShell" LSP-Script

It is not a mistake. Check the legend. Black stands for "Script is installed in current project"
The script is only available in the project and not in the Update Center. That's why you can't click on it.
You can change the combobox in Updatecenter from "all" to "Online". Now show available scripts.

Apps\Graphics\Irfanview

This is a bug. Think its a compress or upload error.  To do this, we have to contact the script author MaineCoon.

Apps\Office\"Adobe Reader XI lite"

Script now fixed

Customize\"WallPaper / Display"

The same as "OwnShell".

Customize\"Boot Screen"

Script now fixed.

@Kare

OK, I start to understand LSP-Update Center

I catch one more :

WinXP PE -- Utils\"Update Center" Start Update Center -- Download 2 LSP-Scripts :
Drivers\"Driverpacks"
Drivers\"USB 3.0 Support"

after that again
WinXP PE -- Utils\"Update Center" Start Update Center

you will notice 2 Drivers at tree-view
\Drivers\
\Drivers\
....

Solution (fix) :
on server
Drivers\"Driverpacks"
Drivers\"USB 3.0 Support"
change to Level=5
now all work as expected  :great:

It is not a mistake. Check the legend. Black stands for "Script is installed in current project"
I hope you change pink to black too, pink also means "Script is installed in current project"

Blue is nice saying "new update available" but pink-blue-black is hard to notice

My eyes are also not good, to see if pink or blue or black, I use Zoom software with LSP update center,
It is much easier to see blue or black,
I hope you get rid of pink.
