Hi,
i made a plugin with LibreOffice portable with PC packed utility. It integrates ok and i can see the full directory structure and the files inside them, as have to be (exactly same as originals in HDD that runs wright).
But when i click to run the application, it tries to run for a second and then nothing happens! no program, no errors ! like the system swallows it!
I have tried "run for CD, from normal, from RAM" but the same behavior ("from RAM" claims that it can't run inside programs directory).
What is the problem , please ?

PS. the Oven's plugin for LibreOffice runs ok but not mine new plugin.

The info you ask inside that plugin, you can spend some time to figure out..

What happens when you use "Provide" option of this plugin, doesn't give you what you need ?

There isn't "provide" button for this plugin. Only "launch" exist and runs ok from this.

I can not understand why you stack on this,
Plugins works fine, easily customizable by provide button, and all info provided via plugin...

Since to me all solved, maybe you are after something else.

Maybe I understand wrong, bad english, others can understand and help better.

Provide File = your .exe version of program must be in the directory
Launch = launches the program exe contained in the File Plugin

Sure, but as you can see in the attached picture of my previous post, hitting "provide" button, it brings up the file explorer showing an empty directory !
With another plugin that i made for a .exe program, hitting "provide" opens a small frame including the name of my .exe program. This is not happens with libreOffice !

Hitting the button "Launch" it executes LibreOffice as it expected.

I stuck on this because :
1. I need LibreOffice or openOffice
2. Making my own plugin with these programs (providing a zipped file with of a working copy), although the procedure of making the win7PESE finishes without any error, and although i can see in the resulting ISO the files of the program been exactly as the must be, trying to run it inside the win7PESE environment it fails !
It just shows for a second the working cursor and then nothing !
Since the Oven's ready plugin of LibreOffice works fine, I decide to use it, not the unusable i made.
But then i have some minor problems with its configuration, like adding additional dictioneries etc.
To do this i need the contents of LibreOffice  paf.
This is why i need the "provide" button, as Lancelot suggested me. But this shows me the empty directory !
What are you seeing if you push the same button ? you see the files or nothing ?
I want your help please.
Most probably, i'm doing something wrong, i'm not an experienced user and i can't go forward.

Because that is how he has it setup - to open an empty directory - so you can provide the setup files or exe..

You WANT to add your customizations to the program folder...

There are two ways of doing that - Additional Files Plugin or via an Attachment inside the Plugin

to explain it would be a night-mare

Is there a way to unpack/repack the file LibreOffice.paf, please ?

PS. Have you any explanation about creation of new libreOffice portable plugin that doesn't run inside Win7PESE, although the same files run in full version of win ?

TIA

LibrePortable Paf plugin+Provide button+Empty directory

 :undecided:

Try to figure out.

I agree, too complicated,
here is another version:

LibrePortable Paf plugin
Provide button
Empty directory --> Opens an empty folder with name "LibreOfficePortable"

Make some trials,
 Try to figure out.....

anyway, good luck to both.

Thanks both of you.
I'm not lucky! I disappointed. I give up.

It seems that this excellent tool is for those who already have enough experience on it.

I agree,

If you can try and not figure out how to use a "provide" button,
you will fail with other options on plugins.

follow microsoft way, in the end PE is their product, this is the official way.
