I found a tricky way to bypass the configuration problem of LibreOffice !
1. I uncheck "postConfig" and the subsequent choices and I push the Big Blue Button
2. When finishes, I overwrite the files in directory "target\win7PESE\program files\LibreOfficePortable" with the files in my customized installation
3. I recheck "postConfig" and the subsequent choices and I hit the button "create new image and ISO" and i have the ISO with my configured LibreOffice !

PS. It would be nice if there was an easy way to modify the script file that includes the installation files but...
Anyway, this solution worked for me

Thanks again

it is easy, besides not required with "Provide" button, well you need to figure out with trial and error,
nobody yet write Tutorials for such simple things. http://theoven.org/index.php?board=35.0

2. When finishes, I overwrite the files in directory "target\win7PESE\program files\LibreOfficePortable" with the files in my customized installation

It brings an empty directory!
LibrePortable Paf plugin+Provide button+Empty directory

 :undecided:

Try to figure out.

I agree, too complicated,
here is another version:

LibrePortable Paf plugin
Provide button
Empty directory --> Opens an empty folder with name "LibreOfficePortable"

Make some trials,
 Try to figure out.....

anyway, good luck to both.

maybe this gives some light on your trials.

Anyway, I am glad you figure out a solution with your way, all ways to success.  :great:

At last i figured it out !
For those who know its so simple but for the others it isn't !
I have to put ALL FILES of my working copy into the empty directory !
I didn't understood that was the meaning of "LibrePortable Paf plugin+Provide button+Empty directory".
At the beginning, I was expected a directory with existed files to modify them so i was wondering why it was empty!
Next I start putting only the files that I had modified without success.
All these tries consume time and brig me a headache for the nothing!
Ok, now it is past!
I will try to find out how can I set LibreOffice as default program for *.doc
Thanks again

"Provide" -> means provide, naturally means end user provide something, with using same program folder name opening on explorer, it is quite obvious !

You are the first user since after years failing using provide button, maybe not that obvious.

I agree, supporting a forum takes quite time, 6 days passed you figure out, me trying to support you.

In return, I ask you to write a very nice quality tutorial about Provide button to anyone in position of you
http://theoven.org/index.php?board=35.0

maybe also other things...

*
About associations,
There is
\Downloads\UtilsY\PC Association Helper
that helps creating associations very easily to an end user who has basic knowledge about plugins...

Well it can be more complex than using provide button, so I advice you to practice first for a while (maybe a week) about projects, plugins things etc. to get familiar with...
or you can figure out some other ways, up to you.

For me, the obvious meaning of "provide" is : "program provide to me ....", like "run" means "program run" not "end user run"
Anyway, thanks again. I'll try associations now. I hope this time i'll be more lucky

This is a good idea.
My approach writing a program is to be understandable by the beginner first of all, because then is understandable from all.
As to write some tutorial, it will be my pleasure to return some of the benefit i earn from the site.
But I must to learn more about the the project first.

Writing a task specific program is much more easier than current projects,
And Free development use hobby limited time with limited man power.

You need to figure out other options, they are simple for a power user who needs a PE/OS.

Good quality Tutorials would be nice.  :great:

and life goes... :turtle:
