Hi Oscar,

Reminding previous posts :

Require,FileList will gain your time with Fabricated Re-Re-Circle
I have noticed it too late, after my tool to convert plugins from XPE to PESE was written.

As far as I know and tested Macro Library covers all required syntax. (= Plugin Covers all required syntax)
Tested with converting Win10XPE project with Macro Library ( XPEPlugin -> Plugin )  ~ 3 months ago.
Let me know if there is required syntax for a converter I may miss.

now you have ExtractWimFile and ExtractWimFileMui syntax to convert.
But It will create trouble for your tool.......
I do not spend time for conversions and do not have conversion practice for months,
but so far I read functions available with Macro Library

Thanks to Fabricated Incompatibility, see Reply 31 here
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2697.msg31756#msg31756

Anyway, life goes, I open a new topic for frequent users to have quick support for such things.

I will wait Oscar to test and update.

I am not Fan of Windows Media Player,
On my side It is always better a known user like Oscar verification of working such plugin,
also better for my limited free time...

That is what I have been waiting for too...
Maybe it would solve WIEBENOR issue...
As just like .Net Framework not required, neither is DirectX
The time and effort was put into XPEPlugin to get working as x86, x64 and with syswow64 support - Following just the Base Files
I Finally received feedback after 7 months about My XPEPlugin requirements
Now Hoping Oscar will follow Lightened XPEPlugin Files to get converted Plugin Tested and Fully Working in PESE

One of the Expected results of Fabricated Incompatibility, or you should also expect when you were having fun to send The time and effort for plugins to trash....

Fabricated Incompatibility simply cause circle circle circle with re re re ... as written on Oscar Reply #299 on: 2018-10-13, 23:07:57
4 months ago ....

Anyway, one more thing you learn, feedbacks comes slow....

*
Reminding,
Fabricated Incompatibility will always cause wasted time with many cases, especially with none Apps plugins.
Regular users like WIEBENOR, Bigbadmoshe will not understand what is going on ....

It is sad indeed ....

Expected and life goes.... :turtle:

Rest is on Oscar hands....

As far as I see Topic is already helpful for your xpeplugin development.
like many available plugins and other SE topics for years now.

Interactions get development to better, I learn many new things from LiveSystemPro too and give back in return to LiveSystemPro ...

Only we have a special Fabricated Incompatibility case that only cause wasted time unlike LivesSystemPro.

anyway, life goes. :turtle:

The plugin doesn't work because it needs  some .mui files.
The fixed version:

* MSMediaPlayer21feb.7z (24.5 kB - downloaded 61 times.)

Received the following feedback
Quote
the version that is in the components section of the win10pese server seems to work on Windows 8.1
Although I can't seem to get it to show on screen in Windows 10, although there is a process for it that is open with its name...

Compare your Require_Filelist with My AddFiles

@Oscar, I compared Files between Both projects - They are the exact same...
But Received this feedback
Quote
if I use the server based one in win8.1pe, it loads, but the media library page has lots of text stuff missing, for example, the play/burn/sync tabs show "--" instead of the text in the tab buttons, among other things...

Will you verify that the MUI files are being properly extracted...
As that will cause the menu items to be blank

I am only responsible for getting plugin work properly
( BuildClass 2 way (copy) and BuildClass 3 way (wimlib) and hybrid ... )
I thought there was an error following your post, but there is not.

Further success of Windows Media Player plugin up to Oscar's hand.

Hi Oscar,

following your attachment, I add a new "VSFilter / DirectVobSub - XySubFilter" plugin to Win10PESE:

Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Win10PESE\Components\MSMediaVSFilter_DirectShow Subtitle Filter.Script"
ps:
Downloading Plugins with a CodeBox:
http://TheOven.org/index.php?topic=2672.0

Plugin contains 3 vsfilter versions,
"VSFilter 2.0.23" do the same with your plugin (files from your attachment)
reminding your plugin only x86, will not work with a x86 build without Wow64

I add other options that supports both x86 and x64:
VSFilter 2.41.322
xy-VSFilter

VSFilter 2.41.322 for now default.

***
btw, reminding, there are some codec package plugins for a while which may take your interest:
Code: [Select]
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\Combined-Community-Codec-Pack_Setup.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\Combined-Community-Codec-Pack_Setup_File.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\Combined-Community-Codec-Pack_Setup_x64_File.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Setup.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Setup_1_Basic_File.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Setup_2_Standard_File.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Setup_3_Full_File.Script"
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\Supplementary\MultiMedia\K-Lite_Codec_Pack_Setup_4_Mega_File.Script"

***********
I did not test vsfilter plugin with a video having a subtitle file...
+
I do not watch a movie at home anymore,
and even at XP times, I was using MediaPlayer Classic (old one) with subtitle addition using VSFilter....
Today I rarely use VLC, and mostly watch the video with the phone on youtube ....
and rarely convert things to .mp4 instead of wasting time with having troubles using .avi filters.
It seems all players handle .mp4 fine for today....

Shortly,
All these media stuff on your hands.
I will only follow feedbacks.

Well... we have a copy from the 21st to try??? I need to check this thread more often. people ask me stuff, and I'm likely using an outdated script probably from just before the new one gets released. Just downloaded the ones from the server for WMP and vobsub... also, if I can, who I'm done getting firewood in today, I'll test them, and as a happy coincidence, I have DVDs and videos with subtitles, both embedded, and srt, as well as the idx/sub format to test it with... there are problems from the PE3 projects(am I thinking of right project?) version of WMP, that I'll try to recreate here, as that project didn't have easily figured out scripts structure and couldn't figure out how they added it exactly... if I can find those video problems here, mostly graphics driver related I'll let you know, so we can figure a generic driver fix (it's any video app not just WMP, and has to do, if I recall, with video resizing/problems in full screen) again, haven't tried it yet for finding those mentioned full-screen bugs, but if I get it to work, then that's the next stop...
