Tried to implement KYHI Beta serial, but unfortunate in the help and about
it shows up as trial. That means it can only recover and not backup.

Because was in beta when created - but works with newest version..
so plugin name mis-leading at this point in time...
but is still registered program - kinda my point..

If you have 2017 Acronis TrueImage installed on the host machine you can
run the plugin without doing anything else. No importing serial # or providing
files. It will use your serial # and us the programs PE files.      :scooter:

I have Acronis 2017 installed and registered on my Win7 Pro x64 machine.  I just used the plugin with Win10PESE and built the project.  When I boot I see the Acronis shortcut on the desktop.  It opens and can restore files with no problem.  When I go to backup a drive, I can hear the drive start crunching for just a second and then it immediately pops up a windows that says "backup failed".  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that was me I would create a PE from the Bootable Rescue Media Builder.
Then I would try to do the same thing using their PE Imaging Software.
That will eliminate 80% of the problems.

I'm confused with the answer.  I am using your plugin to build my Win10PESE.  It imports the Acronis WinPE files and builds successfully but when I go to backup it fails.  Is there something I am doing wrong?  According to the plugin if I have Acronis 2017 installed it will import the serial and files.

It sounds like the program is installed correctly.
In the help and about  does it shows up as trial? That means it can only recover and not backup.

Does your's show up as a trial? If it doesn't than that means it is using your serial #.
I tried the program in trial mode and it gives you a warning that (You have a trial program and it will not backup)
Not a fail to backup warning.

I only suggest the previous post as sometimes the error can be a multiple of problems.

It definitely doesn't say trial.  I've attached screenshots of the help/about box and the error.  I used the Acronis Rescue Media builder like you suggested and had it build a WinPE image.  I booted two machines off that flash drive and they both give me the same error, backup failed.  So it's not your plugin.  Sucks that I bought the software and it doesn't actually work.  The 2013 version I had worked great in Win10PESE.  Anyone have a working build of 2017?  I'm using build 5554.

Ok, so I figured out a little more.  I can backup to locally attached drives.  Anytime I try and backup to a mapped network drive (M:\ in my case) it immediately fails (Note, this works fine with the Acronis 2013).  I can access all files from the mapped drive through explorer.  Since Acronis didn't like that, I deleted the mapped drive and tried to backup via a UNC path.  Acronis prompts me for credentials and I enter them but it rejects them.  I've tried various forms such as, username, machinename\username and tried it with NT authentication checked with no success.  If I go to explorer and UNC to the share it prompts me for credentials, I enter them and then I can access the share but Acronis refuses to work.  Any ideas?

Ok, as a temporary workaround I added the following to penetwork_after.cmd:
mkdir /D b:\backup m:\

This creates a symbolic link in the ramdrive that tricks Acronis into thinking it's backing up to a local drive.  If anyone has any idea on how to get it working without doing this I would greatly appreciate the tips.

I got the plugin to install and load but I am having the exact same issue you are having where it will not backup to a mapped drive. I will try your workaround though. I'm also hoping someone who is subscribed to this thread found a solution.
