Fortunately, I also do not frequent forums with users so ill-disposed towards others, especially with those less prepared in the subject matter, and if you have interpreted my words as not very considerate, this is a problem of your understanding or my inability to translate my points of view into English. It was certainly not my intention.

My phrase of "giving up" was neither ironic (it was a really heartfelt thanks) nor disrespectful, but simply an outlet towards an application that I can't manipulate, certainly not towards who was helping me.

I would ask you to read more about what posted thereafter before making inadequate evaluations

Thank you for speaking on behalf of your perspective alone, as it is wrong.

Oh, I kind of agreed with his prospective - but I did not give up with helping you..
As I knew it was not an issue with Win10XPE - it was an issue with how you where trying to manipulate it...
So something was lost in the translation - So I have no issues - and glad to see neither one of us gave up...
Regards..

Happy to know.. even if I still don't understand why and where this "perspective" has born. I clearly told in past posts that I was looking for a simple and exhaustive app (Win10XPE) explanation, so no one minimum intention from my side to "manipulate" anything.

Better, I clearly told that the main issue was Ventoy related. I repeat: Ventoy, I found proofs in their forum.....I sent you all the links, but nobody clearly red them with attention

Finally, when I told it was my intention to give up, it was not referred to your (appreciated) help, but to the fact I wasn't able to solve above issues, mainly related to have only one USB safety tool (with ventoy and Win10XPE Iso inside) to solve all my backup needs...

I Hope my english is clear enough.

My local area network is pretty simple but I do have a networked attached storage unit acting as my lan's share.  I am not having any issue connecting  to it.  Seems to be working as in previous XPE builds.

No worries, here also, to connect to remote shares
Then, note that there is no change related to the network in the last release.

I have been looking at the various topics presented but one I cannot find is how to use the MegaCMD script. I've downloaded it and the project itself but how do I use MegaCMD? What am I missing?  Previously, several years ago, I used UBCDForWin. Then I discovered WinPE here. Although i am now retired from my computer repair job, I still keep my hands in tings so it makes sense to have this project on a USB drive.

I have built several iterations of the project but want to add more flexibility.

Hi Zeb

not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but if you're asking how to use the 'Mega Optional Application Download' xpeplugin to add more xpeplugins to your project, then from the lefthand pane, go to Utilities --> Mega Optional Application Download and in the righthand pane select the apps you wish to add to your project (tick the checkbox) and Hit the large grey box marked 'DownloadFiles'. it will then load the Mega cmd, download the relevant xpeplugins and extract them to the correct folders within the project.

The great bulk of the available xpeplugins are contained within the first item 'XPE OPTIONAL ADD-ON BASE PACKAGE'

ps If you get download failures, you're almost certain to be using an older version of the  'Mega Optional Application Download (current one has 2021.01.09 datestamp), always use the ver from the latest project distribution package

Hi, In Windows Task Manager, Processes tab, the biggest (39,008 K in Ram) Image Name is "Registry".  Can someone tell me what that is?
FAB project BTW, really having great fun with it, mainly because it is so easy to customise! Brilliant piece of work.
Thanks in advance,
®

Good evening! Is there a software update expected in the project? Or new  Win10XPE will be when 21H1 comes out.
