Hello,

First Question: is there a way to install NVIDA (337.88) drivers with Win8.1 SE PE?

Now anyway, I am incredibly suprised how easy it was to build a Win8.1 SE working one shot!

I tryed to do a Windows 8.1 To Go on a USB Sandisk and it _never_ worked.

Win8.1SE, is fully compatible with Easy2Boot if you put the ISO in WINPE folder. But what is more incredible, i did a directory on my same USB key, put my portables 32bit apps in there. And it works, for both x86 and x64 architectures. (Winpe from 32 and 64 and tested). No need to rebuild WinPE ISO!

MANY Thanks, im waiting transfer for donation on paypal.

Having full display driver functionnal would be very cool tough. Im still using a 4:3 Screen LCD (Yes i still have one wooohoo) it would be cool to choose every resolutions :)

Thanks again.

BTW i tryed to build the ISO with a directory  Extracted from the 337.88-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql

No go.

/sarcasm : 326 meg drivers. Way to go NVIDIA. with this size it must be working really good!!!

It's not large because it is bloated, it is large because it supports their graphics cards all the way back to the 9000 series. There's most likely over 100 embedded drivers inside of the software, not including their configuration software, physx software, geforce experience software, 3d vision software, and shadowplay software.

Also, best way to integrate new software, is to run up a fresh install of windows. Run a snapshot of the registry using http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2505 (regshot). Install the geforce software, and run another snapshot using the same program. It should give a list of all the files and entries made, which you can create a script from (and then start picking and choosing what files are strictly necessary to cut it down). The only drawback of doing it this way is the software may only install the drivers related to your specific card, not all of them. In this situation, using a generic driver pack (like http://driverpacks.net/ or http://drp.su/) and extracting the drivers from that may be the better go.

I managed to get it working, Intel/AMD and Nvidia up to 1xx.xx can be loaded with dpinst, but Nvidia over 200.00 does not, it needs reboot, BUT i realised that does not happen if you integrate Nvidia display driver directly on winpe with the dism tool.

What you need is Windows ADK and "Display.Driver" folder of a nvidia driver, you can copy the "HDAudio" folder inside display.driver if you wish too, that is the HDMI audio driver.

So what you gona do once you have a working win8.1se boot.wim is to open the CMD of Windows ADK and

1) Mount wim to a folder.
Dism /mount-wim /wimfile:c:\boot.wim /index:1 /mountdir:c:\mount

2) Integrate drivers
Dism /image:c:\mount /Add-Driver /driver:C:\Display.Driver /recurse

3) Save and commit
Dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\mount /Commit

The driver will be loaded at start when you run the script to install all devices drivers, ive set to run that auto on start.

WARNING: the nvidia driver uses 200MB of ramdisk, SO set the win8.1se ramdisk to 1GB to be sure it will have enoght space to be loaded and there still something left to use.

To save space you can replace some files with a 0 Byte dummy file.

Doing so for NvCplSetupInt.exe should save much space.

mmmm i realised is does not work so well.

At first it works, the nvidia driver is loaded just after the network driver is loaded

But shortly after that, this happens:

and them the audio driver is loaded, im not really sure why it happens.

It was definatelly a nice try!

But yeah i just abandonned. Actually, loading the HDXxxx from intel chipset would probably a far better option.

Not sure how to do this one either tough.

If your problem is resolution thats gona fix it, the driver will load up the correct resolution for the display and its not gona change after it dissapears

And about how to do it, i just realised thats is already incluided in Win8.1SE driver integration script,  just select to load drivers intro ramdisk and copy the Display.Driver folder to the folders in the script, remember to change the NvCplSetupInt.exe for a dummy one or you gona have to select 1GB of ramdisk.
