I'm using my XPE bootstick in a mixed Win7/10 environment.
It fails to boot on older systems when the Legacy support is enabled in the BIOS.

Is there any way to embed WINLOAD.EFI (any any other needed files; I just get an error for this one) for x86 systems?

Then, some instructions and few files in the Boot and EFI\BOOT directories and the image works regardless of BIOS settings.

Just a thought.

Win10XPE will Boot UEFI and Legacy MBR...

32Bit x86 UEFI Booting > is ONLY supported with ATOM processors

Otherwise you Need MBR/Legacy Support Enabled in BOIS
And the USB Partition HAS to be Set as Active in order to Boot Legacy/MBR Mode
