Hi jtcom

your problem almost certainly comes from recent changes on the MS servers which have affected the files GWT downloads.

I don't use the Win7PE SE project anymore - not for a long time, but would be willing to bet that if you still have a previous build anywhere, if you copy
the two folders X86 & X64 in  ....\Win7PE_SE\Projects\Tools\Win7PESE from the old build to the new project it will overcome that problem. It only would only need to be done once for the initial run

regards APT

ps  I have tried the latest version of GWT that fixes the Win10 d/l problem but it still seems to give that wimgapi prob for Win7

I would like to propose that if it is something that must be used, must I have it, and I want it to be put in and cut off the loading process?  :great: :great:

Hi
Not 100% sure what that means, but with the greatest respect, I don't wish to spend any more time on that project,
If I d/l that win7PE SE distro and copy the files from an old backup I had,  as I suggested, the project completes to a built iso.

I guess you'll have to wait for Bob.omb or Lancelot to return from vacation to help you. (or some other kind soul)

Hi

I don't use this project anymore, not for a long time
but a very quick check, if I supply the wimgapi6.2.dll that it looks for in ....\Win7PE_SE\Projects\Tools\Win7PESE\x64 it passes the errors and produces a bootable iso.

haven't got time to investigate further at the moment

nb

just remembered I had already updated GetWaikTools.script  in ...Win7PE_SE\Projects\Win7PESE\Utils
with the latest GWT 20.0.10 attached below, but I still needed to add wimgapi6.2.dll

ps obviously I'm not suggesting this as a fix, I leave that up to whoever is still supporting this project, it's just a way to bypass the problem and allow you to create an iso

was using latest win7project I could find with win7x64 SP1    - Maybe RoyM can help, his memory prob much better than mine  from reboot days
