After creating an update Win8.1SE boot drive today, I experienced issues with USB Booting (I know I found  a fix before for these issues, but can't remember what it was).

*Booting to Win8.1SE occurs without issue*

Issues:
1. HBCD fails to load any DOS programs, hanging at:
Booting 'Dos Programs'
(hd16)
FAT12 BPB found with 0xEB (jmp) loading the boot sector.
probed C/H/S = 80/2/18, probed total sectors = 2880

Same occurs with both the integrated HBCD option, as well as selecting the ISO to boot from

2. Booting from ISOs containing *nix based OSs hang after trying to load the kernel (i.e. GParted and PartedMagic, both the most recent editions)

Drive: 64GB USB3 (SanDisk)
Formated: FAT32 (tried exFAT as well)
Formated with: RMPrepUSB (tried with Bootice as well via the GUI)
