Hey Guys,

Newbie question here.
I've build a live disk with Win8.1SE but I'm missing some king of remote Registry Editor/Loader. I need to be able to boot on a PC with some let's say startup problems due to registry and to be able to edit that PCs registry entries (Windows XP/Vista/7/8.1 or at least 7 and 8.1). I've been searching here in the forum but I can't seem to find such a plugin.
Also some short steps hot to add this plugin to my project will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Runscanner is an option in winbuilder. Works well.

As "SIW2" said, you can enable "Runscanner" in your build which includes a "Remote Regedit" shortcut to easily edit offline Registry. However you can also manually load any Registry hive file and edit it directly even from a bare born "WinPE".

Important :

Before editing Registry of Windows 8/8.1/10 , make sure to disable "Fast Startup" by deleting "hiberfil.sys" from the root of Windows partition. Otherwise it will cause big trouble as i explained in http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=1103.msg13538#msg13538
