Hi Oscar,

I added your tip to FAQ http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=834.0
Q: Flash Player (YouTube) videos not working ?

we are very desktop.ini aware, we already have Add,DesktopIni, syntax (check builder wand)
IE, it works nicely on enu soource,
I guess you use none-enu source,

Here I tested with TR (XP Turkish) source,
something seems to be broken ( there are unexpected folders inside startmenu)
maybe when IE08 selected maybe not, not tested, no time ...

use Gena\Build\Profile Prepare\"Use Enu Profile" , this fixed my TR thing, hopefully yours too

I figure out the trouble,

Gena build is ok,
but currently CreateISO can not write localized folder names,
  hence folders recreated

we had faced with this before many times, fixed many times, reappeared again and again  ......
(maybe using cdimage fixes, maybe yet another version of mkisof required,
or maybe we need to add oscdimg (I guess that was it) to create iso.. whatever... )
your special build conditions (profile on cd drive) again result with reappear ;)
-> on the other hand profile on a usb disk, WimBoot, BootDI would not cause such trouble

I decide "Use Enu Profile" as default , 3 - Profile 1 Prepare on server

Some more:
My source is an XP SP2  English version, enabling Enu Profile does not help, folder Links keeps changing name.
Menu Start Favorites work if IE8 is enabled and Opera disabled, if both are enabled favorites do nothing (they should open Opera)
No problem at all with IE6 and Opera enabled, Favorites open Opera and Link folder does not chage its name.

Hi 0scar,

Can you use PluginManager (under Utils) to save your current project selections, then provide that file. I can use this to hopefully replicate the issue. I might have a little bit of time tomorrow to take a look.

Thnaks,
Galapo.

Hi Oscar,

favorites do nothing (they should open Opera)

I fixed that,
new:
IE_06
IE_08
Opera_v08_54
Opera_v12_saydin77
plugins on server, I hope ok now.....

however, I could not reproduce "Links keeps changing name." trouble you have,
besides I am sure it happens
  I update IE08 following your @%windir%\System32\ieframe.dll.mui,-12385
(which has no effect on my side...)

ps: ms changed these and related entries many times on nt5x update times  there would be more around which not harm, I guess above change cause a bad folder name on interface ! or something like that on your builds.....

Tip: folders loose attributes on createiso, hence such folders don't get desktop.ini names,
the ones that have are created at boot or execution time    which has no harm but only visual change (or not ;))
to get all with create iso-profile on ramdrive, a plugin required with a .cmd and Require,File, attrib.exe and startup shortcut,
if you decide to, share around

btw: I recommend 2k3sp2 or xpsp3 source, 2k3sp2 have better support for new age disks where driver available/found...

anyway, I hope now everything ok....

Fine!
Thank you!

And no more excuses for me, it seems  it is time to let Pebuilder go for ever...

I updated IE08 (remove warnings because of one of the winbuilder bug ) and Profile Create Folders ,
Profile Create Folders need a fix by Galapo,
after that you will have folder names at startup with createiso-profile on system case

I already put instruction at the bottom
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=251

wait Galapo post
hopefully after which we have .zip updated

++

since Saydin77 create his builder, Pebuilder go for ever to me for a while now
sadly we could not have a plugin manager on Saydin77 builder, hence we are at this point now

still, there were some plugins of Pebuilder I never could find time to implent to Gena at times,
or not have such devices, or not need such features but like them on hand.....  (not remembering now )

you know all these Pebuilder stuff better, and I am pretty sure you have lots of nice gems from your Pebuilder in your pocket
maybe some of them will be nice on distribution  time will show

ps: also check Yomi-Gena  http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=176.0

Merry Christmas  :xmas-grin:

The problem with my own scripts is their heterodox syntax, they are not adecuate for distribution.
Anyway, I will try to learn the Winbuilder ortodox syntax, but reading help files is not my speciality.  :embarrassed:

but reading help files is not my speciality.  :embarrassed:
neither mine, that is the reason I organise things to be found with CTRL+F
and step by step examples

you hit us on our weak point IE .... which at last a lot fixed with your feedback, I like things run once good so we can play further  and solve forever in order not to face again

well, we have lots of tools to convert bartpe plugins
(RegCPE, Reg ReConvert, PC Packed + extras, some unnoticed project features ...)
  easly to any plugin around...

If you open a new topic, asking how to convert a bartpe plugin you have,
having some registry ;) and distributable files,
it would be a nice step by step topic for a new user and ease your learning curve, further speed you up on creating plugins...

Overall, resulting with having working plugins on both Gena and all SE  which covers mostly all such requirements  :great:

See You

Unfortunaly it is too late, I have  already learned to convert Bartpe plugins long ago, the work is done, the plugins were converted or written new  "my way" (without packed files, no standard names for the variables, no dialogs, no help, etc.).
Before sharing the scripts would need a lot of work.

Even better, share the ones we miss, as "Oscar Collection"
with a warning saying these are hardcoded special plugins of Oscar ... etc..  :great:

hence let the time deal with it

giving example, we did not work on IE at the times we put features to Gena,
thinking most people don't use such conditions and IE together,
  time came with you

It is always better starting with a plugin at hand

See You

Hi Oscar,

on CreateISO interface,

change ScrollBox value from "-h -m -u1" to  "-h -n -d -m"
cdimage/oscdimg back to working again..
currently cdimage/oscdimg have better localized support than current mkisof....

I guess Galapo missed this during development of CreateISO plugin ....

So now all ok,
next would be .zip update if no more issues reported..

See You
