Hi to all..!

I’m new to this so I’ve some questions..

1)   My win7PE build has almost everything I want except one thing... it’s not bootable in EFI computers, (only legacy BIOS)
I tried burn the ISO with rufus , YUMI etc, always formatting my usb in fat32 and GPT partition sheme, without any lack (could it be my default windows 7 ISO/source?)
Any suggestions…?

2)   Is it possible for Acronis implementation just like in win10 XPE?
If yes, how?

Thanks in advance!

Note: I have not made Win7PE Build, but with that said.
1) Most Windows 7 PC's where not UEFI compatible (So Not Sure Project Supports It)
Although I believe if you use Windows 8.1 and up Boot Files you can accomplish that UEFI Task
2) Not need To Use Rufus - Just Format USB Fat32 and Copy Contents of ISO To USB
3) Yes Acronis can be implemented in Win7PE with Proper Plugin

Thanks for your quick reply!

1)I already found some info about manually inject some missing files in windows 7 folder (\EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI must be present...)

2) where to find acronis plugin for win7PE and where to put it?

Hi yannis

Quote
where to find acronis plugin for win7PE and where to put it?

you can use one of these, on post one of the thread below

http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=1754.0

in the Win7PESE project, and look through later posts on that thread for more hints/tips etc

extract the .script from the .7z and place somewhere like
Projects\MyPlugins_Direct\AppsMy\HD Tasks\Imaging\Acronis_TrueImage_2018_ChrisR.script

ensure you select it in the lefthand pane, and follow instruction on rh pane exclamation button for instructions on getting required zip file
from the main exe or the req zip file may still be available by searching on this site

regards APT
ps
or that thread reply #61 for 2019 ver  maybe -I have only actually tried the 2018 ver on win7pese
pps
just tried the 2019 ver from reply #61 of that thread with zip from WinPE.zip from bld 14610
- builds fine and launches in virtual win7pro - not tested further

Hi yannis,

If you can give detailed info about missing files you add to boot Win7PESE EFI,
I guess I can add to Win7PESE project.

Hi Lancelot

unfortunately it didn't work.. i don't know how to make bootable EFI build, thats why i abandon win 7PESE.. Going for the 8 right now.

Btw, i did it with Acronis (thanks APT ) !
However, version 2019 had bug with recovery (it keeping closing app) so i used 2018 version and it's working fine.
