Trying to make a basic build and am continually coming up with the following error, and I can't work out what it means or how to resolve it:

Error: Wimlib extract Require_FileList.ini from c:\Win10\sources\install.wim return:47

Source files are Windows 10 x32 1809, downloaded yesterday from Microsoft. There is no 'install.wim' file in the files; there is an 'install_wim' folder, but I don't know what the error is trying to tell me. I've tried using 64-bit source files with the same error. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Download your Source Media From Here > https://tb.rg-adguard.net/public.php
As you will most likely find that your Source Media has an Install.esd File, rather then an Install.wim file

Thanks, James - this did the trick!

@james is right! ESD format is not recognized.
i experienced this situation quite some time ago. i just converted the existing ESD file to Install.wim

To do this, just call DISM to the rescue!

1- Copy the install.esd file in a new folder > Elevated prompt : dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:install.esd
This will show you all editions included.

2-  Pick an index number > Elevated prompt again : dism /export-image /SourceImageFile:install.esd /SourceIndex:2 /DestinationImageFile:install.wim /Compress:max /CheckIntegrity
This will export image in index 2 (Pro edition for example)

The benefit of this method is you can export only one index in case you want only one windows edition in your ISO. (no impact on the overall size of the ISO)

There is also a very good batch conversion tool created by abodi1406 @MDL which do the same and more (ESD2WIM-WIM2ESD)

Use DISM ++ to convert ESD to WIM or ISO in one step with a gui
