Good luck with that.....

Everyone else here successfully builds their own when needed and the policy is not to share created ISO I believe

Hi compuserve

with the greatest respect, this forum supports the self-building and customization of the projects available, and we don't promote any premade ISO's

I feel for you.  I've been with PE since BartPE, I worked with him (he did the work and I asked stupid questions and tried things - if you can call that helping).

I moved over to some other build system, then WinBuilder.  It was about at this point that I just lost interest in a lot of the nittygritty build stuff and sought an easier route. Partly due to my changing job responsibilities.  Partly due to other methods I've started to use and partly since WIn 10 PE seems to be adequate for most of my uses.

I eventually landed on ChrisPE: https://github.com/pebakery/chrispe .  I don't think it's being developed much any more but it still works fine.

It still has a learning curve, but seems a lot easier than most other builders.  Give it a go.

As far as I'm aware it hasn't been touched for two years, having converted some of my plugin/xpeplugins (can't remember which) to it at the time, it worked fine but, honestly can't say it's easier than any other project, and yet another learning curve to contend with !

I really can't see if you can't/won't build with one of the projects here why ChrisPE would be any different in any way

All I can say is after fussing with WinBuilder scripts and spending a lot of time, ChrisPE got me a basic, usable WinPE in short order.

So, no not kindergarten level, but it doesn't quite need as much fussing with to get a legal usable WinPE 10 build.

Hi Roootman

Yep it's fine, but there are others, that are developed on a daily basis, which really are as simple to use, download a distribution file, extract into a short path dir on the root of a drive, set the source as prescribed Hit Go and a working bootable iso will result.

ps I have a great respect for Misty, ied206, Taviruni and the others who contributed towards that project
