When I tried to enable NetFX3 on Windows 10 XPE, it just fails with DISM error code [HRESULT = 0x80070490 - ERROR_NOT_FOUND].

I did, and I'm using Windows 10 1903 V2 source.

Verify that > \Win10XPE\Projects\Tools\x86\DISM\dism.exe < Exists

You can also verify that your "Windows 10 Source Folder" contains> \sources\sxs\microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package**

Just verified using "Utilities/NETFx3 Add-Feature" with Win10-PreviewRelease 19563 x64 on Win8.1 x64 Host OS
Enables NETFx3 Feature without Error..

I was using Windows 10 build 18362.535 with x64 arch.
I can build without it.

Only other suggest would be to Rename the tools\x86\dism folder to dism.old
And run the build again to redownload the required tools again
As , I can not reproduce error, at this time

I also have problems when I tried to enable the NetFx3 feature using Windows 10 x64 1903 as host and setup source. The folder "Temp\Install_Wim\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727" only contains an empty CONFIG folder.

The script searches for the existence of %CheckDotNetFile%=%TempMount%\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\InstallUtil.exe but that file is not there.

DISM was re-downloaded.

Set your Source and index on Win10XPE main opening page
Select "Enable Feature NetFx3" on Utilities/NETFx3 Add-Feature
Post or attach Build Log
Post any messages when running script

You can also enable "Show Process" to follow the CMD process & messages

Once NetFX3 enabled via utilities - run Build Again with NetFX4 enabled on Build Core
Now You will get Full NetFx support with every Build when NetFX4 is selected..

I use a T: RAM disk with 8GB of free space to speed up the build and test of XPE, the source ISO is in real D: disk. If I try to enable the NetFx3 feature using the RAM disk the process fails, but if I use a real disk the process is successful.

Attached are both logs after pressing "Enable Feature NetFx3" button for both scenarios.

The Process has to Mount the Install.wim before it can enable the NetFx3 Feature...

Your 8GB T:\Ram does not have enough space - thus it fails....

I would guess you would almost have to double that amount

Hi. I just need to ask about the accounts?
If we already have NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges when logged into WinPE, what difference will it make if we logged in using a regular account or an Admin account?
