I did not vote for either x86/x64 because my needs vary.

"What I prefer to Build".

My preference is x64 with Wow, with System (default login Administrator)
It will be defacto standard before too long, "Can you say sooo long x86".
These are my standard builds with all the bells and whistles, portable apps, and more.
To be used for hardcore troubleshooting, recovery, and most anything else.

I have projects that require x86, Mame Cabinets and win95/98 16 bit apps and games.
So x86 is still a must have for older stuff.

"How I build".

I will try new projects on my Personal laptop, which is optimized for speed, running Win10x64, 8GRam, SSD's.
If the project gets a thumbs up, it then gets moved to dedicated hardware.

Meaning I have dedicated a Laptop, Desktop, Server, Embedded, etc, depending on project.
That's where that project will live and die from now on.
Additionally, the dedicated hardware boots to Grub4Dos or Grub2, and then loads the payload.
The payload is a form of PE or XPE which has been tailored to run on it's dedicated hardware.
And we develop from there.

Now here is where %Arch% and hardware Specific comes into play,
My hardware must match or exceed my projects,
My Software must play nice with dedicated hardware.

Sometimes my hardware is not so new, I have to specifically
purchase older hardware which is getting harder to find.

Nice Topic Malok.
Regards.

P.S. I have so much more to add, but it's not in the scope of this topic.

It's the right place to talk of other things

I too have a Multi emulator cabinet I made myself. On a custom BartPE, done with XP. Running on a old Pentium D. It has like 3000 games and a 19inch 4:3 Arcade led monitor with Two happ super joysticks and 24 buttons... I've been trowing this in the living room during the holidays for the last 10 years. And it's running great.

I also have a 10PESE build that I use as a flat x64 install on Beelink Gemini X55 mini computers to make full featured 4K Home Theatre client for Emby and Plex, with web browser and lots of goodies.

Then I Have my technical builds ranging from PE with XP up to Win10... 2 compilations made for PXE with bare bone Network and disks drivers, image maintenance and deployment software, also 10PESE based.

Thanks for your Reply Roy.
