You have a Custom Folder and the file in it overwrites the one included with the project..

Any help to support the next 1809 windows Oct-18 update (RS5)

Looks like build 17763 will be released to the slow ring any minute now (UUP were available two days ago, but a slow ring release means ISO files == ready for testing with XPE).

Sorry, it seems I still can't edit my own posts, but I forgot to add: 17763 seems to be the "RTM" version, to become the new Windows 10 v1809.

I'm currently working on it with good progress for now.
I work with build 17760 currently but it should not be too far away.
StartIsBack++ 2.7 with win10 1809 support is required.

Looking good, ChrisR!
Good to see the crazy 6-month release cycle hasn't got you defeated...
I wonder when Microsoft will realize we don't need a new Windows release every 6 months, a lot of developers can't keep up with this.
The only really new thing is the dark theme in Explorer, which to me doesn't warrant a completely new release at all.

Still, great to see you already implemented it in 10XPE!!

Last week we got the UUP files for 17763, yesterday the ESD files, so maybe next week the ISOs...

Win10XPE_2018-10-05 update

I updated the network drivers registration to be in line with the drivers changes done in Win10 1809, I had missed it.

I tried win10XPE_2018-10-05 with src of 1809 win 10 home iso. Still it has problems of display driver integration.
Though it says driver integration successful during making of ISO, after booting iso, display driver is not loaded.
At least previously by editing pecmd.ini for driver loading, I could get the driver loaded.
Now that also does not happen.
Further after booting ISO, in device manager, I used to get VGA option and I could update display driver.
All the three options are not working for display driver.

Hi

I modify ImeTC.Script to let it work. Now zh-TW part can work up to v1809 and zh-CN part can work but only in v1709.

Notepad2 must change defualt font every time in Chinese PE and UI is not in Chinese. I hope it can return to windows Notepad in Chinese PE.When I edit text file first time in Win10XPE, I see this and don't know what's going on. It will confuse user.

Thank.

\Win10XPE\Projects\Include\x86\AdditionalFiles\Windows\System32\Notepad.exe
With windows Notepad.exe

Or Add

Code: [Select]
\Windows\System32\??-??\notepad.exe.mui
\Windows\System32\notepad.exe
To

Thanks for reply.

About Notepad restore, I aready do in ImeTC.script. But it must ensure ImeTC.script executed after notepad2 replacement.

I think it is about what decision Win10XPE make, because there are many solutions.

sorry my bad English.

I want the taskbar to be black instead of transparent when using StartIsBack, how do I achieve that?

I tried "RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_Default\Software\StartIsBack,TaskbarAlpha,255" but that has no effect.

Thanks
