The default setting for Virtual Test - Best Emulation  runs VMWare Player on my Win7 64-bit build system in Bridged mode instead of NAT so I don't get any internet connectivity when the VM runs at the end of a build.
Looking at the VMWare Player script, it seems to be set to Auto by default - if I set this to NAT then I do get internet connectivity when a new build completes. Any idea why Auto seems to be choosing Bridged rather than NAT and has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Steve6375

My memory says nat was problematic on older versions of vmware emulating PEnt6x.....
Anyway, no problems anymore, triple verified by ChrisR on nt6x and me on nt5x,

So, now nat is default for nt6x builds (in fact all kind of builds) on vmware plugin, on  both servers

There is also explanation (+and a nice button) added to plugin that will help any future user that decide to use bridge  :great:
