Hello,

I'm new to this forum and Win8.1SE. This is a great project - congratulations! I went through the setup without issues. I was planning to use the system for A/V purposes on my main audio system which consists of USB Audio DAC that doesn't require installing 3rd party driver - it works with native MS USB Audio Class 1 driver. However it seems that the driver is not a part of Win8.1 SE. I would appreciate tips how to enable/integrate that driver. Thank you in advance

Cheers,
Marc

Which USB sound device do you use?
Which HardwareID and compatileID refers to the USB sound device?
Which Windows files do you use?

Using Win 8.1 x86 or Win 8.1 Update 1 amd64:
wdma_usb.inf loads appropiate drivers.
'Generic USB Audio Device' does work. I'm listening.
USB\VID_0D8C&PID_000E&MI_00
USB\Class_01

Hi cdob,

Thank you for your reply and sorry for my late reply. Somehow I missed it. So I need to add wdma_usb.inf when making the image? is that right?
Second thing is that I would like to integrate software that runs as Windows service and requires reboot to work. Do you know if there is a way of doing that? Thank you for all the help

Best regards

The script Audio does include wdma_usb.inf already.
A simple USB sound card should work out of the box.

Again:
Which USB sound device do you use?
Which HardwareID and compatileID refers to the USB sound device?
Which Windows files do you use at running windows?
