It's strange but I've been getting more blue screens in this new version of Win7PESE than I have in previous ones. Somehow it seems the issues are related with the command prompt. If I click the command prompt on the desktop icon (script included in the project), and decide to close it by pressing the red X (instead of typing Exit) I get a blue screen.

The blue screen also happened to me when running the sophos antivirus from the script's command prompt. The antivirus was running and I wanted to stop it, so I pressed Ctrl + C (standard break for a dos routine) and the system halted (blue screen).

I know the new library causes some issues with old plugins, however I don't think in this case they are related.

More blue screens than before

It's pretty hard to get Win7PESE go blue, are your sure that not a hardware problem.
I mean does it happens on more than 1 PC?

Also does it happens with default setting?

It  happened to me on a real machine and on vmware. I'm using the latest version plus some additional plugins (mainly antimalware and recovery software). I know that Win7PESE is very stable, that is one of the reasons I like it so much.

Hi,
the same issue here with command line closing by X with AVIRA 13 Antivirus from homes32
Closing with "Exit" works.

BSOD: 0x0000008e (0xC000005E, 0x00000000, 0x8D8B4C44, 0x00000000)

Tried on VM and different PCs.

It doesn't happen without Avira. Avira itsself works without any trouble.

Best Regards
