Hi everyone,
I wanted to try and make another 7pe but this time with .net so if someone at school needs help (I'm assisting the tech) I can run some .net based utilities like Visual BCD etc etc.
I have a VERY FAST usb3 flash drive and all the pc have usb3, so i used a flat boot so i can install apps without it getting deleted like a traditional .wim install.
I made the flat boot, i "burned" it to my usb with ntfs, and booted with uefi (had to mod the bcd a bit to get it to work) I got in, and there was a login screen with Administrator and Guest logins. Both of them say The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. Since there that little accessibility button at the bottom left i renamed a cmd to match its name. I remembered winpe usually has the X:/ as boot, but when I loaded explorer from cmd, it showed the boot drive as C:/ perhaps thats why it says the domain? because the accounts were meant to be at X: but theyre at C:
How can I fix this? And dont suggest making a wim PLEASE, as I tried to and couldnt get apps to work the way i wanted it. I have access to explorer but control panel doesnt work so thats a nogo but perhaps net user but i dont know how to do it.
Thanks everyone and other than that, I've loved it...
