Hi Kare,

I remember a post about MountStorePE update (~ 1 week ago) but I could not find it.

I also could not find MountStorePE at home page
http://www.kare-net.de
http://www.kare-net.de/Index-e.html

Your other tools are also missing on the home page.

Is there a webpage to download the latest MountStorePE ?
or should I get it from LiveSystemPro ?
+
Is there an update for a free Dipe ?

:turtle:

Hi
About MSPE
You can download and extract the latest version of MountStoragePE from the Update Center.
What is new is that after partitioning a HDD, the PC no longer needs to shut down. MSPE mounts the drives. That was improved.

The other tools are gone.

Hi Kare,

Just an info:

Compatibility mode for - Windows 8 - breaks LiveSystemPro

Win10 - "Reg Config" (3-RegConfig.srt)
Quote
If-then = True: If,%HostNT%,>,5.1,Then
ExitCode: 1 - shellexecute,Hide,C:\WINDOWS\system32\reg.exe,import "D:\LiveSystem Pro\Temp\Win10PE\PE-SOFTWARE.reg"
If-then = True: If,Not,%ExitCode%,=,0,Then,Halt,Error PE-SOFTWARE.reg.
halt,Error PE-SOFTWARE.reg.
Tested: LSP1125.zip LSP-1120.zip LSP-1119.zip LSP-1118.zip - using 1809 (Win10 Cor x64 en-US 17763)

Only info, If you have feedback with something like above, "Compatibility mode" is one of the suspects.  :wink:

See you on next post

Hi Kare,

Win10 - "Reg Config" (\Projects\Win10PE\Build3-RegConfig.srt)

I feel some lines have missing quotes

I guess:
ShellExecute,Hide,%WindowsDir%\system32\reg.exe, import #$q%ScriptDir%\RegConfig\ProductOptions-%arch%.reg
--- I guess --->
ShellExecute,Hide,%WindowsDir%\system32\reg.exe," import ProductOptions-%arch%.reg",%ScriptDir%\RegConfig

ShellExecute,Hide,%WindowsDir%\system32\reg.exe, import #$q%ScriptDir%\RegConfig\Ownership.reg
--- I guess --->
ShellExecute,Hide,%WindowsDir%\system32\reg.exe," import Ownership.reg",%ScriptDir%\RegConfig

See you on next post.  :thumbsup:

Build successful

as written on current topic before, better 5 Seconds ;)

*
Cosmetics:
Win10 build

Start Menu -> Administrative Tools --> desktop.ini visible (probably forgotten attrib ...)
Start Menu -> Administrative Tools --> Internet Options (inetcpl.cpl) --> shortcut icon seems not working
Start Menu -> Administrative Tools --> Shared Folders (fsmgmt.msc) --> shortcut icon seems not working

Thanks for the LiveSystemPro update   :showoff: :xmas-beer:

Hi Kare,

an additional info for feedback :
Start Menu -> Administrative Tools --> Internet Options (inetcpl.cpl) --> shortcut icon seems not working
Start Menu -> Administrative Tools --> Shared Folders (fsmgmt.msc) --> shortcut icon seems not working

I guess the shortcut icon seems not working happens when I use enu source.  :wink:
 Icons work with Win10_1809_Spanish(Mexico)_x64 source.

Shortly, test with "Win10 1903 English x64 - 19H1 18362.356" to reproduce  :thumbsup:

No, only .mun.file is missing.
Replace in Networkcenter.srt line 96
ReqFile,inetcpl.cpl,1 -->>> ReqFile,inetcpl.cpl,2
and line319
ReqFile,shrpubw.exe,1 -->>> ReqFile,shrpubw.exe,2

Desktop.ini
Replace in Base_file.srt line 143
//FileSetAttrib,%TargetDir%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\desktop.ini,+SH
-->>>
FileSetAttrib,%TargetDir%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\desktop.ini,+SH
and it works.

Thanks Kare,

All fixed nicely  :thumbsup: :xmas-beer:

*
For 5 seconds optional final message
a quick idea is :

LiveSyspro.ini
[FinalMessageSettings]
FinalMessage=false

AND

Following CD-RW Reply 50 http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=295.msg28826#msg28826

[AfterBuild] in Project.man
Start the section after press the "Build successfull" button. FullBuild

Project.cfg - Project.man -- At the top of [AfterBuild]
[AfterBuild]
Message,Build Successful,Information,5
...

Just an idea  :xmas-good:

Hi Kare,

When you extract LSP1125.zip to an empty folder and directly use something like this:

LiveSyspro.exe -P=Win10PE "-S=D:\S\Win10_1903_V2_English_x64\"

build will fail.

bug is at 0-PreConfig.srt
after line 68:
String,%WIM_Index%,left,%pScrollBox1%,1

I add some lines to fix after line 68:

Quote
String,%WIM_Index%,left,%pScrollBox1%,1
If,%WIM_Index%-,=,-,then
Run,%Projectini%,Source

//Interface update maybe not working
Interface,Update,%pScrollBox1%
//-
//String Did not work here
//String,%WIM_Index%,left,%pScrollBox1%,1
//-
//String Did not work here - Workaround - Start
IniRead,%pScrollBox1_IniRead%,%ScriptFile%,Interface,pScrollBox1
String,%WIM_Index%,left,%pScrollBox1_IniRead%,1

//String Did not work here - Workaround - Finish
//-
//Another Dirty Workaround Not used - Maybe In future Project default with Run,%Projectini%,Source select another default index which is not 1
//Set,%WIM_Index%,1
//-
End

above my novice codes with some notes.

@Lancelot

Thanks for the message.
Could reproduce and fix the error.
The user normally selects the source and this will fill the scrollbox. at commandline we have no user so the scrollbox is empty.
This line solves the problem.
Code: [Select]
if,%pScrollBox1%,=,,Then,Run,%Projectini%,source

Otherwise there is no builder messages at the end of the build. You can now control this via script.

Use the latest LSP version V1.1.2.7.

Note:
Chm and Editor file not updated.

Download:
www.kare-net.de\downloads\LSP1127-beta.zip

Hi

The message can easy remove.

In Project.man:

Code: [Select]
[ONBUILDEXIT]

if,%ProcessError%,>,3,then,message,logbox,%tBuildER%
if,%BuildMode%,=,0,then
  if,%ProcessError%,=,0,then,message,%tBuildOK%,Information|LiveSystem pro
  if,%ProcessError%,=,3,then,message,%tBuildST%,Information|LiveSystem pro
end

A new beta project is ready.

What is new ?

- LSP-Editor upgedated
- CHM-files (german, english) updated

Download:

Hi Kare,

2 things  :wink:

1)
ShellExecute,<Action>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>]
or
Start,<Action>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>]

1a) It will be good to have ShellExecute/Start Action option Min

1b) It will be good to have some ShellExecute/Start Priority options eg.
eg.
ShellExecute/Start,<Action>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>] [,<Priority>]
Priority Values:
 Normal
 BelowNormal
 Background
 Idle

On my side I had to invent Call,Start for 1a) 1b)   :wink:

See You on next post....

Edit:
HelpFile typo fix:
Reference\Dir-File Commands\Start

Start,<Action%>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>]
-->
Start,<Action>,<File>[,<Parameter>][,<WorkingDir>]

Hi Kare,

Something with shortcuts.exe

I can not create shortcuts with space at the beginning.

eg.
with 3rd 4th 5th 6th parameter of shortcut.exe

"Desktop" "" "%SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe" "Test"
Creates "Test.lnk" at Desktop folder  :thumbsup:

BUT

"Desktop" "" "%SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe" "    Test"
-->
at Desktop folder ".lnk" file created  :sad:
I could not find any way to create "    Test.lnk" at desktop.

Shortly:
When there is <SPACE> at the beginning of shortcut file name, shortcut.exe seems to fail

ps:
LiveSystemPro (LiveSyspro.exe) create shortcuts internally (without shortcut.exe) with Space at the desktop, but shortcut.exe can not  :cool:

?

Hi

1.
What do you need priority for?

2.
The problem is, parameter into parameter.
In your example use the same combination and shortcut.exe split the parameter. result failed.

i solved it with quote and space char combination.
e.g.
Code: [Select]
Shortcut.exe "H:\LSP1119\Temp\WinXPE\UserData" "H:\LSP1119\Projects\WinXPE\project.cfg" "StartMenu" "." "X:\Programme\Total cmd\TOTALCMD.EXE" "Total Commander" "X:\Programme\Total cmd" "/i="X:\Programme\Total cmd\wincmd.ini"" "" ""

The Parameter /i="X:\Programme\Total cmd\wincmd.ini" is for totalcommander.

How can work Parameter with quotes and spaces ?

Think only with a new delimeter, maybe Pipechar "|" or other char..... or other idea ?

e.g:
Code: [Select]
Shortcut.exe "H:\LSP1119\Temp\WinXPE\UserData"|"H:\LSP1119\Projects\WinXPE\project.cfg"|"StartMenu"|"."|"X:\Programme\Total cmd\TOTALCMD.EXE"|"Total Commander"|"X:\Programme\Total cmd"|"/i="X:\Programme\Total cmd\wincmd.ini""|""|""
