Hi,

1st Post.  I'd like to start by thanking all of you who have created this amazing project!  So far it's more reliable than any "rescue" disk i've ever used and I get to tweak it to my taste too!  Amazing.

I've been working with it for ~ 2 weeks now and have managed to get it to about 95% of what I want by a lot of trial & error.  I have a few question left that i'm not making any progress on so I'll ask them here - each one in a separate post so as to keep things clear.

(Note: I'm using Win10XPE.exe 82.0.0.15 with Win 10 Pro v10.0.19041.508 x64 source on my Win 7 x64 host machine)

1st question:  When I boot the USB to the desktop i'm greeted by a screen that asks me if I want to switch to Admin.  How can I configure the builder to always set up Admin automatically without asking me every time?[size=12pt]

Hi laffin_boy

Welcome to the forum, may I ask, do you have a specific reason for wanting to use the Admin account?

btw, the default font size for a post is fine for us, unless you have a specific reason to change it.

@Sharp:   Thank you !

@APT:  RE: Admin:  because, given the choice, i'd much rather have to restore my latest image bkup when I break something than grit my teeth at one more Windoze error message that says: "Sorry (stupid user) we can't allow you to do that (on your own computer)"   And thanks to this project i'm even more dangerous now that I know about NSudo!

@Sharp:   OK, I tried setting the delay to zero but when it booted it still asked me if I wanted to switch to Admin and the countdown timer was set to 10 sec (which is what I originally set it to)

 :confused:
Have you built a new ISO after setting the countdown timer to zero?

I guess laffin_boy have PecmdAdmin.ini in Custom\Pecmdini\PecmdAdmin.ini
Following a previous use of the button "PecmdAdmin.ini" on Build Core
And modifications made on these default lines:
Code: [Select]
CALL ADMIN
//CALL SWITCHTOADMINQUESTION
EXIT

To restore the default configuration, you have to delete PecmdAdmin.ini in the Custom\Pecmdini folder

@ChrisR:   Thanks for your help

I renamed Custom\Pecmdini\PecmdAdmin.ini (PecmdAdmin.ini.xxx) to make it invisible but that had no effect on the issue.  I am still presented with a 10 sec countdown window asking me if I want Admin or not.  I have the timer in Win10PEX builder set to zero as per Sharp's suggestion.
 What else can I try?
