Found a problem with booting on a recent motherboard, ASUS B85-K. Win7PE loads desktop and hangs. At least it looks like a hang because mouse and keyboard are not working. More, a "WIN7PESE Warning" icon is displayed on the desktop.
Both keyboard and mouse use USB connection. In case of using a PS/2 keyboard everything is fine.

Sounds like missing USB 3 driver. Does it work if you connect them with a USB 2 port?

Mouse an keyboard are connected to USB 2.0 ports.
I built my Win7PE with the USB 3.0 script enabled.

Disable "USB 3.0 Support" plugin, and test,
 it is disabled by default.

To test, Use default build without changing any other thing....

So far, I have tried to build the project without the "USB 3.0 Support" plugin, but with USB 3.0 drivers integrated with the "Driver Integration" script. The result was the same. OK, I will test it without USB 3.0 support at all.

Also disable "Driver Integration" Plugin on your Win7PESE tests.

Unfortunately, I cannot test my project with ASUS B85-K motherboard now, but I have ASRock B85M-DGS based on the same chipset. I tested my Win7PE with ASRock and couldn't reproduce the issue. It doesn't recur whatever Win7PE build I try to boot - with integrated drivers or without. Seems that ASUS B85-K have some bug preventing Win7PE from booting normally (not every time however!). Or the culprit is a piece of hardware - these motherboards may have different controllers and, therefore, require different drivers.

You can probably try by exporting the host drivers with your ASUS B85-K motherboard.
You can use Double driver or others tools for that.
Remove some drivers, graphics, audio,... that can cause problems before integrating them.

As I said, the ASUS motherboard is out of my reach now. Hope I'll have an opportunity to test it later.
