Opera 12 as the default browser in WinPESE has probably had its day
I built this Mozilla Firefox plugin with options that suit me, as a possible replacement in SE.

Thanks to Mikka, Kyhi. I was inspired by their plugins, still active of course
To avoid confusion, I named it Mozilla Firefox CR.

Does anyone know how to change the default Search Engine ? I try with
prefs.js > user_pref("browser.search.defaultenginename", "DuckDuckGo");
but without success.

Download Mozilla Firefox CR plugin v2

I have no video available and I have no plans to do.
To start, begin by PC Packed in Utils folder to create a nice plugin, all done.
Take the time to understand it, with breakpoint if needed, add "message, xxx %MyVar%" for that.
Then you should be able to adjust the plugin to the (your) needs by adding some codes. Use the Magic button or Right Click, to see the syntax.
You also have winbuilder.chm to help you.

You must go ahead and try, try, then test and retry and so on.
The syntax is fairly simple and there is not much function than that. No need to be a true developer.
Good luck

Hi ChrisR..
thanks to your script.

I must be doing something wrong. I get this error message when trying to watch a video.
[We're sorry, but your browser does not support this video. Please install Adobe Flash version 10 or later.]
I have the check mark Add Flash.

Thanks for any help    :scooter:

I updated the script so you don't have to change the settings.

Thanks for the info. I normally use Google Chrome in Windows, not in the PE.

I just updated the Win10PE SE I have and built a new Win10PESE_x86.ISO. Thanks.

I added the Firefox plugin v14 (v51.0 FF). If possible, please add a option to associate files ( .htm etc) with FF - like the Opera plugin does.

Sendto works OK.

Hi Chris,

Since FireFox do not support Gena (XP/2k3) after v52.3.0
I renamed your old plugins (v14 - File v10)

Mozilla_Firefox_CR_NT5x
Mozilla_Firefox_CR_NT5x_File

and put to Gena

Gena\Apps\Network\Mozilla Firefox CR NT5x
Gena\Apps\Network\Mozilla Firefox CR NT5x - File

These NT5x plugins contain FireFox v51.0.1 , feel free to update them to v52.3.0 if you are interested

*
Also updated latest Mozilla Firefox plugins on SE servers to upload only to SE servers.
( with other words: upload button updated
AND description and check for NT6x only)

Ops I had missed the ending of support for XP and Vista.
Thanks to you for the NT5x plugin
For the update, they recommend changing to the Extended Support Release (=version 52.3.0) Firefox ESR
I should have some time tomorrow to do it.

Mozilla Firefox CR plugin v17 crashes occasionally in Win10PESE built with Win 10 v1709.
Starting from Windows 10 v1703, msiso.dll is added for IE and seems Firefox uses it when downloading file.

I tried quick fix and it addressed crash, please have a look.

Add these lines in [Dependencies]:
Code: [Select]
Call,CompareVersions,%TargetVersion1%.%TargetVersion2%.%TargetVersion3%,10.0.15063,TargetVersion_Win10_v1703
Code: [Select]
If,%TargetVersion_Win10_v1703%,Equal,Equal,Set,%Copy10_1703%,True
If,%TargetVersion_Win10_v1703%,Equal,Bigger,Set,%Copy10_1703%,True
If,%Copy10_1703%,Equal,True,Begin
Require_FileQ,msiso.dll
End

From the 1 - Copy Files script:

Code: [Select]
// 15063 dependencies.
If,Not,%Win10_1703%,Equal,Smaller,Begin
BootCopySys32,fontdrvhost.exe
BootCopySys32,msIso.dll
BootCopySys32,usermgrcli.dll
BootCopySys32,winsrvext.dll
End

Why is it not copied for you?
