HI Lancelot

I have long been using some of the teams PECMD.exe.
I have an assembly of the Chinese comrades with using "PECMD.exe" instead of "Winpeshl.exe".
Win7PE (xuantian). Iso ~ 380Mb. (En-en)
If I can go somewhere to lay out for example how it works.

Hi ChrisR

LetterSwap.exe serves two purposes one of which is the creation of "Y" marker file.

X:\windows\SysWOW64\LetterSwap.exe /auto /BootDrive y:\CDUSB.Y /Log %temp%\LSLog.txt :great:

Hi,

LetterSwap.exe serves two purposes one of which is the creation of "Y" marker file.

X:\windows\SysWOW64\LetterSwap.exe /auto /BootDrive y:\CDUSB.Y /Log %temp%\LSLog.txt :great:
I helped a little to improve Letterswap for this, see http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=93.msg1213#msg1213
letterswap done the same thing as cdusb (cdusb.y, wait, cdusb.log), with, of course, the synchronization letters of disk

I agree with the Lancelot's comment
Quote
cdusb improved after a set of error reports mainly ufd delaying getting ready at bootup , to get do what is intentended to do, I do not know if pecmd or sh.exe have such improvments or not,
if adjusted too fast than it would cause errors on different computers  if your pc-win7pese get ufd ready quicker than cdusb will work quicker....

ImDisk
Here is the latest version of ImdiskRamdisk.script with imdisk & StartImdisk x86/x64
The possibility to Change 'Temp' Environment variable at startup (RunOnce Broadcast...)
or/and with a shortcut to BroadcastEnvChange.cmd with defined Drive letter write in script

To use with Imdisk_Installer.script,
Thank you to fuwi, JonF and both of you for the help :great:

Hi ChrisR
For some reason it does not work in x64PE - RunScanner?

Proved to be short of a few libraries in "SysWOW64":
regedit.exe, authz.dll, aclui.dll, ulib.dll, clb.dll and acc. (* mui).

X:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

To operate : Desktop (create shortcut). DeskLink - you need to put in the "System32" and "SysWOW64" sendmail.dll (*.mui).

Runscanner does not work in a 64-bit environment. The author would have to spend a lot of money to buy the required libraries, and he is not going to do that. So it will probably never work.

Hi JonF  Hi maanu

1.For to work Runscanner to x64, you must add the library:

"SysWOW64":
regedit.exe, authz.dll, aclui.dll, ulib.dll, clb.dll  - and acc. (* Mui).

2. In order to work the label : Desktop (create shortcut). DeskLink, you must add the library:

you need to put in the "System32" and "SysWOW64" sendmail.dll -  (*. mui).

Sorry for my bad English.

2. In order to work the label : Desktop (create shortcut). DeskLink, you must add the library:

you need to put in the "System32" and "SysWOW64" sendmail.dll -  (*. mui).

New explorer plugins on server, giving above option  :great:
Tip: if you have not updated yet, update all new plugins...

1.For to work Runscanner to x64, you must add the library:

Win7PESE already have Runscanner plugin at
"Win7PE_SE\Apps\System Tools\Registry"
since no negative reports yet and should be working on wow64 ???????

Moreover do not need even a marker file! Moreover, it is much faster than CDUSB.exe. :w00t:
Hmm, i read this the first time that CDUSB.exe is slow, any more info's (log file, unusual hardware)?

Maybe same drvload lines before executing cdusb.exe could solve that problem.

Hi JFX!

Sorry, I did not properly put in context: what can Sh.exe:

1. Create shortcuts to programs, along with an Icon and display on your Desktop.
2. Create shortcuts to programs, along with an Icon and display the Start menu.
3. Automatically record the program in the registry, if necessary.
4. Can do without the marker file (CdUsb.Y).
5. Working in x86 and x64.
6. +.... A lot of things.
7. There is a ready script by the author NIKZZZZ.
8. If necessary, add external programs do not need to climb into the finished image.
9. If a lot of programs on an external drive, there is the possibility of indexing, to accelerate the creation of shortcuts.

I have personally tested this tool and found in her favor.

With regard to CdUsb.exe, then:

LetterSwap.exe serves two purposes one of which is the creation of "Y" marker file.

X:\windows\LetterSwap.exe /auto /BootDrive y:\CDUSB.Y /Log %temp%\LSLog.txt

Hi Doberman,

read more carelfully

1.For to work Runscanner to x64, you must add the library:

Win7PESE already have Runscanner plugin at
"Win7PE_SE\Apps\System Tools\Registry"
since no negative reports yet and should be working on wow64 ???????

I did not ask for x64, I asked for wow64
Author says he can not compile to x64,

To clearify a bit more, My question is:
does runscanner work with 32bit applications on wow64 successfully ??????
with other words:
When you build Gena-x64 or Win7PESE-x64, does 32bit application work with 32bit runscanner on wow64 ????

I hope one can answer.....

Hi Lancelot!
After the construction of WinPE x64, Runscanner does not work.

It works only after the addition of these libraries.

Good to know it works

Runscanner plugin ("Win7PE SE\Apps\System Tools\Registry") should be adding those libraries (most) you refer !
I need an exact ( perfect ) list of files that are missing from that plugin, so I can update on server, hence everybody benefits
