@James: the registry compatibility service was not started at this point.
You need this to reflect network registry changes to the network adapter.

@bob: I have thought about once more, I will change it back to the old behavior for the tray wifi window and will make the things like mac, ipv6, size limitation for tray info window and tray wifi window size optional changeable  (ini, registry) :)

So long...
Holger

@Holger

Just a hint:
the portuguese languagefile should be named as pt-PT instead of pt-PR.

Hello,
I published version 0.59.Beta 11 of PENM (27.12.2018): :beta:
- Fixed: Crash during tray info window creation and wrong IPv6 subnet mask
- Fixed: Scrolling misbehavior in other settings and profile editor
- Fixed: Some small optical bugs in profile editor
- Changed: Tray info and WiFi window back to old sizes
- Added: New ini options to modify behavior of tray info and WiFi window (TrayLimitInfo, TrayAdaptWiFi, TrayInfoHeight, TrayWiFiHeight, TrayShowMAC, TrayShowIPv6)

You can download it from:
https://www.penetworkmanager.de

or
https://sourceforge.net/projects/penetwork

Next things will be better icons with larger DPI settings like 175% and 200% and some things which are not really finished.

Greets

Is there a method of connecting to a PPPoE ??

I would assume it would be a matter of editing the "Wired" Profile to include the Modem IP Config with the addition of a UserName and password to be able to automatically login to modem

Hi Holger,
and others,

I do not know much things about wi-fi
Very recently (yesterday) first time in my life I test Gena-2k3 (and Virtual XP/2k3) with wifi and failed
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=3079.msg36846#msg36846

The problem seems to me not PENetwork but about adding
Wireless Zero Configuration ( wzcsvc ) service
to Win2003

Since you also made wifi (and wzcsvc) work on XP (sp3 and sp2 update) via PENetwork Plugin,
 maybe you are interested ?

Memo:
Gena\Utils\"Download Souce" Plugin you can quickly download Win2003x86 and reproduce my test results.

Tip:
with enabled
Gena\"Basic Project"
+
Green Play
Gena\Components\Core\1 System\Network\"PENetwork Gena" Plugin

You will build faster

Tip2:
+
Create ISO with fbwf enabled ....
+
Green Play
Gena\Drivers\6 Others\"Driver Import PE"
and boot Gena.iso on Virtual or Real Offline xp/2k3 will quickly get wi-fi Drivers

+ Additional:

I do my tests after Adding my USB Wifi ( TP-Link TL-WN823N ) with Driver Import PE
---->

I guess PENetwork registers required dll (and maybe also registries) at startup

so far can not start Ndisuio service with Gena-Win2003.
I feel there is some registry or file missing but I could not figure out.

without Ndisuio service, naturally do not continue to start wzcsvc service.

+
Further:
* there is no wlanapi.dll with Win2003 , and Win2003 can use wifi without wlanapi.dll

Still I try my luck by adding all WindowsXP-KB918997-v6-x86 files
(
by adding PENetwork Gena plugin ~ Line 259 (before Run,%ScriptFile%,Process-FileExpand )
If,%OS%%SourceArch%,Equal,W2003x86,Run,%ScriptFile%,Process-WLAN-KB918997v6x86
)
and I get Penetwork with :

Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point WZGetSPresModule could not be located in the dynamic library WZCSAPI.DLL

well only try my luck.

*+
with Gena-Win2003
"Driver Import PE" works fine when adding Driver from OS,

I use Dipe with a simple Dipe plugin
Call,DownloadX,"%BaseDir%\Projects\Yomi\AppY\System Tools\Drv_ImpeD.script"

*
I feel I miss something special about Ndisuio service or whatever effecting that ......

**
Cosmetics:
When PENetwork starts with LAN driver,
After PENetwork start Adding WLAN driver PENetwork does not add new device to the list
 (only seen at taskmanager)

Exiting PENetwork and starting again, Wlan driver on the list.

+Add

and a bug report:

with both Lan and USB-Wifi device connected at boot :

using USB-Wifi fails since Ndisuio fails to start.
->
PENetwork - selecting "TP-LINK Wireless USB adapter" - WiFi - Start Button gives :

Quote
An error occured while starting the "NDIS Usermode I/O" driver!
the service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

to workaround, I do not include LAN driver, and add only WiFi Driver after boot,
later start PENetwork, and Wifi works with Gena-XPSP3 ...
