I just downloaded the Adobe Reader XI plugin for XPE from http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2607.msg34521#msg34521

And it built and worked completely fine in my build of Win10XPE - x64

So I suspect the problem is with you or your configuration as the plugin itself works perfectly fine with XPE

The Proper Attachment is Here > Adobe Reader XI
Download the Attachment and copy to "\Win10XPE\Projects\MoPlugins\Apps\Office\AdobeReaderXI_XPE.script"

Jon,
You have been Mixing Apps between Projects....
If you are Using Win10XPE > all the Apps will have XPE in .script name...
There is a How To included with project - Please read it...

@ Jon_2030 See topic below.
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2982.msg35484#msg35484

There are some 'Experiments' in that topic that may help.
I have continued development on my plugin, and it is nearly 95% compatible
with all prior projects, from LiveXP on, "It is Not published yet, due to time constraints".
I am still missing some minor API stuff like, %reg%,Unpack, and a few more.
Thanks to Lancelot's Help, Suggestions, and Projects.
Happy Baking Folks.

I need to exclaim, that some of this is still experimental.
Do not use these tools unless you know what you are doing.
'My Suggestion', "Run se2xpe plugin on a Technician PC ONLY".

The easiest and cheapest thing to a TechPC for Windows these days is,
a PC running from a booted PE, with all the bells and whistles preinstalled,
meaning, Full Explorer Shell, Network Enabled but not connected at boot,
DotNet, PowerShell, DirectX, etc, etc, "and preferably a dedicated machine",
that boots to a WinPE10 or better depending on your development needs at the time.

That TechPC will have one bootable HDD, with all necessary tools and more.
And will run the OS flavor and hopefully the %arch% of the day.
This is where PortableApps become invaluable.
*******************************************************

What I'm saying is that you 'should not run' se2xpe plugin anywhere near your offline OS.
It is still experimental and I cannot ensure that 'ALL' plugins will work as expected,
 and/or give the desired results.

"You have been Advised".
Regards.

I am still missing some minor API stuff like, %reg%,Unpack, and a few more.
%reg%,Unpack was causing dramatically slow down with overall build .....

The easiest and cheapest thing to a TechPC for Windows these days is,
a PC running from a booted PE, with all the bells and whistles preinstalled,
Well, I only once kill all my windows by using a wrong registry command
But windows could rescue itself (hardly) and I had to reinstall everything...

Another idea is preparing a bootable vhd (or get one ready ;) ) and boot from that vhd as TechPC

:turtle:
