put all other files and folders (eg. \GenaPrograms\) inside iso to this different drive.

most applications are inside iso not inside wim to use low memory .....

I'm not familiar with Gena Project ,but I think it is because the file MEDIA.DRIVE is absent from your device root.
This file contains a line like that... Gena=2019.07.08 4:30:37... containing the build date and time.

The content of this file is verified by ExpEnvVar.exe to insure it has found the good media to be mounted.

Verify if this file is present in your build and try to copy it to the root of your PE media.

I cannot insure the validity of this info but it has been discussed a couple time on the forum.

I tried all the mentioned methods but unfortunately this warning pops up when I take the image content to a different drive. I think there will be a way to prevent this. because those who know do it.

In fact, It protects you from the failure, informing there IS failure.

But yes It can be better designed when Galapo come back from Summer Time Holiday
I'm on holiday at the moment,

*
Message Inform you that without boot drive there will be failure:
Gena will boot but
- shortcuts of things out of wim will not work
- registry of things out of wim will not work
etc.

Anyway I have some trials for you:
1)
Enable: Finals\1 Optimizations\"MountPEmedia" Plugin
put Gena_WIM.ISO file to the root of your usb/disk

If this works, all rest continue work nicely.
If not work:
after boot, inside Gena, check If you have Gena_WIM.ISO inside one of disks,
You did not provide any info how you prepare boot !!!!
If not, put Gena_WIM.ISO inside Flash Drive instead of real disk and try again,
hopefully you will see Gena_WIM.ISO after Gena boots ????? and without failure ?????

Reminding: Gena\Drivers\4 Storage\"Removable Devices Combo" is enabled as default, I only guess you did not disable it !!!!

*****
you only provide a picture and failure screen, give more info so all can configure what is going on there.

Have some quick fun with enabled Gena\"Basic Project"  Plugin

As far as I can remember, Gena download source iso (650 MB) if you do not have one.

thank you. I found that the problem was caused by the absence of my usb 3.0 drivers. I don't see my flash memory again, even though I installed the drivers and I use a 2.0 connection

Thanks for the update gazi06

some usb3.0 sticks/disks/motherboards ask for usb3.0 driver, they do not truly run at usb2.0 mode .....

*
To get your usb3 drivers work, If you add drivers after Gena Boot, use Hwpnp
--> Gena\Drivers\6 Other\Hwpnp Plugin
you will notice Hwpnp shortcuts at startmenu, after you add drivers manually try shortcuts ....

Also after you add drivers successfully, mount usb3 to drive letter
See MountStorPE shortcut at StartMenu
or
use "Active@ Partition Manager 6" to manually add new drive letter (Like Disk Management)
( Apps\HD Tasks\"Active@ Partition Manager 6" Plugin )

*
For the current topic case, To add usb3 driver successfully to have it available at boot, maybe you can update:

Gena\Drivers\4 Storage\"USB 3.0 Support" Plugin

If you update plugin and get things work fine, let us know

thank you for the answer . it may not be very relevant, but I have a question. It does not appear because it cannot assign letters to the USB sticks inserted when winpe is open. How can I fix this. I have to run HWPnp every time

Hi gazi06,

*
It does not appear because it cannot assign letters to the USB sticks inserted when winpe is open.
2 solutions:

1) Better insert usb stick before you boot Gena, It should appear and topic issue "No Proper Tag File Found screen" should solved ????

2) 2nd solution will not solve topic issue but will ease to assign letters after boot :

If you like to add ALL drive letters assigned automatically

Gena\Drivers\4 Storage\"Removable Devices Combo" Plugin --> under "Add MountStorPE" Enable "Startup shortcut"

Following your picture:
MountStorPE should assign drive letters to "Disk 0" , "Sistem Ayrıldı" and "75.05 GB NTFS Sağlam" --> E: F: G:
shortly ALL

**
And Instead of  "Quote" all post, use "Reply" link to reply posts, shorter posts easier to read.
I removed your quote from your previous reply.

Tip: When required use short "Quote" to keep your replies tidy.

I hope you have Turkish keyboard working fine on Gena, I did not test with Turkish source cd for a long time now.

See You

this issue was resolved after moving the MEDIA.DRIVE file to the home directory. When there are no usb 3.0 drivers, it will not install again.

shortly ALL
I could not set the MountStorPE script to run automatically. but when I right click Refresh usb drives come up. Why doesn't it do it automatically?

I hope you have Turkish keyboard working fine on Gena, I did not test with Turkish source cd for a long time now.
yes turkish keyboard looks good. only 3 - Profile 1 Prepare> Use Enu When the Profile is closed, startup tools are not active.

I do not understand this ? Can you provide a step by step info so I can reproduce here.

I could not set the MountStorPE script to run automatically. but when I right click Refresh usb drives come up. Why doesn't it do it automatically?
Gena\Drivers\4 Storage\"Removable Devices Combo" Plugin works fine here,
 MountStorPE starts automatically,
I insert usb2 flash disk to pc after Gena Boot, MounStorPE assigns a drive letter.

*
Btw, I see you use XP source, better use Win2003 source to build Gena since Win2003 has better disk support ...

Gena\Utils\'Download Source' Plugin
1) Select --> W2003_Enterprise_Turkish_x86
2) --> It will download 600 MB .img file from ms
3)

:turtle:

ps: I fixed quotes on your previous post.

I cannot assign the drive letter automatically. I use sp3 pro as the installation source.

Sorry, there will be different questions, but I do get all the settings in internet explorer, but I get the certificate error. why could it be.

Well works fine here..... !

As written before, better use Win2003 as the source since Win2003 have better disk management. Further up to you.

Update
Gena\Components\Core\1 System\"IE Settings" Plugin
Tip:
use green download button on Plugin UI right-top

I hope this fixes.

Since the current topic solved, better ask other questions on new topics so others can find easier with an internet search.
