I have a hopefully simple question.

Is it possible to register a service in Win7PE?

Is it possible to build a Win7PE SE with a custom application which requires a custom service?

Yes, it is possible without problems, for which apps you want it ?
Here's a simple enough example script GImageX, adapted to Win7PE, with FltMgr and WimFltr services.
