I fully understand your feelings, I had mainboard failure too, it went to trash and caused a lot headache at that times but at least harddisks not damaged on this failure of mine, I had worse failure when my harddisk card chip burned (which again rescued after lots of researches)

I hope things work out to get fine there soon

Here's what the log reveals:

You've run SetResolution in a virtual machine. Desired virtual machine resolution was set to 800x600. SetResolution set the resolution to 800x600.

To me, this means it's working as intended. Unless the resolution wasn't successfully set to 800x600 even though it is reported as such.

My For Sata II Laptop (be careful,Sata II,32 bit-ddr3,Win7+xp)

My Bios sata option 1: Serial ATA Conroller.If close,nothing does not work.So it should be open to.

My Bios sata option 2: AHCI configuration.
If close,iso on cd,open system,diks enabled,working.But normal windows not open.
If open ahci,normal windows working and gena on cd,disks close or not mount system.

Thanks for posting the logs. However, they are not detailed enough for me to determine your issue. I will need logs from the newer version of SetResolution to figure things out. If you can get those, that would be great.

If open ahci,normal windows working and gena on cd,disks close or not mount system.

on that pc, open ahci (be sure), on normal windows use savehwid, and send the notepad file  (let's be resure about the results)

and what is your mainboard-laptop (whatever) model (in detail) you make tests ?
(if you find links from internet of your model, it would help since you know there are tons of models around, best would be link from manufacturer  )

test latest setresolution, build again, save log:
Setresolution option:native  1280x800---virtual 1024x768
boot gena.iso on real pc,
provide setresolution log (which is I guess what Galapo requires) and build log (to make Galapo sure about things)

I guess Galapo can check your chipset: Intel® HM65 (or whatever your disks connected to ) on internet to see hwids etc. etc.....

Give me some time (days.....), I only have 1 left idea, so need to prepare 1 or 2 more iso for you to test, but time is not on my side....

1) SetResolution issue
Thanks for the logs. SetResolution has detected that it was run in a virtual machine, desired resolution was configured as 1024x768, and SetResolution determined that it was set to this sucessfully. This means it is working as intended. If the resolution was not set successfully to 1024x768, then something has gone wrong with SetResolution when it detected that it was.

2) Laptop issue
The mass storage HWID for your device is 'VEN_8086&DEV_1C03'. This is supported by the driverpack. Unless the particular driver used isn't working for you. You could try copying your working Intel driver to 'Workbench\Common\DPs\MassStorage\ScriptFiles\common' as 'IASTOR7.SYS' and delete the 'IASTOR7.SY_' file. Maybe you could cab the 'IASTOR7.SYS' to 'IASTOR7.SY_' to be sure. Then rebuild the PE and test.

aside checking your ufd settings on bios as Galapo suggested

sometimes manufactures put usb1 ports side by side with usb2 ports, they think usb1 ones for keyboard/mouse.... (I believe to get a lower price...)
if your bios settings are correct, also try changing usb port of your ufd IF available....

It is normal (expected) since Galapo wrote you:

It is normal since nikzzzz Ruslive Gena, Gena, and last iso I sent use same driver set (dps latest....),
I guess you say "last iso" I had sent you also not running (you can not access drives with a43 ??????)
Please be more specific on tests you had made   
if that is what you say, than now we are absolutely sure the root of the problem is driver (IASTOR7.SYS)not the builds.

Simdilik anlayabildigimiz (kuvvetle tahmin edebildigimiz), dps paketinde bulunan, Intel in dagittigi son versiyon IASTOR7.SYS , HWID numarasi da olmasina ragmen senin cihazinda calismiyor gorunuyor, eger bu dogru ise sen benim bildigim ilk sin ;) lakin INTEL in bu konularda karnesi de cok kotu oldugundan (suruculerde vukaati cok fazla lakin senin gibi bi durum hic gelmemisti) buyuk suprizde olmaz 

Elinde calistigini bildigin surucunun olmasi icin, cihazda xp/2k3 yuklu olmasi ve calisir olmasi gerekir, bu durumda disklere eristiginden demek ki surucu calisiyor deriz... Lakin anladigim kadari ile cihazda xp/2k3 yuklu degil..... (bu durumda calistigini bildigin surucu de olamaz ;))
Eger cihaza xp/2k3 yuklemeye calisirsan da ayni sorunla karsilasacaksindir, boyle bir durumda:
Sende bircoklari gibi ilk once xp/2k3 cd sini dps den aldigin son suruculerle yukleyip, sonra kurmayi deneyeceksindir, ve Gena ile ne sorun yasiyorsan ayni sorunu yasayacaksindir.....
Sorun Gena dan degil, surucu nun calismamasindan kaynakli, biz Gena olarak (Win7PE SE dede) surucuyu DPS ekibinden aliyoruz, ve son surumu kullaniyoruz......

xp/2k3 kurmayi denemek yerine, Galapo nun dedigi yontemle, cihazin surucusu varsa sitesinde yada webde, Gena ile deneme yapabilirsin.....

You will need to explain exactly what you are doing.

Is this it: you shut down your system. Then you boot Gena from usb (not usb in virtual machine). At boot, SetResolution incorrectly detects that it is running in a virtual machine. Therefore the resolution is set to 1024x768. Is that it? Can you post the SetResolution log file of usb boot?

I erased IASTOR7.SYS and IASTOR7.SY_,build gena.

That's expected. The mass storage driver you system needs is the Intel driver.

As Lancelot explained, that's why I said you needed to copy your working driver. Either copy it from your driver installation package, or from your working system (make sure it is copied from 32-bit system).

driver entegreli 09.2011 tarihli bir XP yi kurdum.sorun çıkmadı ve hala çalışıyor.Üstünede 2. sistem olarak bir
win7 kurdum sorunsuz çalışıyorlar.Ben xp cd sinin içindeki sata driverlarıda gena ya entegre etmeyi
düşünmüştüm.(IASTOR.SY_/IASTOR2.SY_/IASTOR3.SY_/IASTOR9.SY_) O zaman saçma gelmişti ama şimdi Usb üstünden
denedim sonuç olumsuz video driver failed-ahci açık-kapalı.Ide laptop umda ise çalışıyor.(Bu dosyaları dps deki
ler ile değiştirdim.İso oluştuktan sonra ultra iso ile açıp.Bu arada DPS içinde IASTOR9.SY_ yoktu.)

Galaponun dediğinide USB üstünden yaptım.intel sata driver ı buldum (XP x32 .sys) iastor7.sys yaptım ve kombineli olarak yani xp cd sinden değiştirdiklerim ve orjinal dps dekiler ile sonuç:video driver failed.Ide laptop ta yine sorunsuz
çalışıyor.Ama bir deneme daha yapacağım.

Biosta 2 sata ayarı var.(Elimde olup çalışmayan sata II laptop ta)

1)Sata controller / Eğer bu kapanırsa ahci da kapanıyor.Usb den video driver failed hatasına devam.DVD yazıcıyı
ise görmüyor.Sadece PXE görünüyor.(Usb taktığında PXE siyah ekranından sonra grub4dos u yakalıyor.)Haliyle
windowsta açılmıyor.;)

2)Ahci configuration /Kapanırsa Windows açılmıyor.DVD üzerinden diskleride görecek şekilde açılıyor.Yani
sorunsuz.Ben böyle olduğundan USB içinde ahci ayarını kapatıyorum.Ama ne olur olmaz deyip açıkta denedim.Sonuç
bütün iso larda ahci açı-kapalı video driver failed.Extra bilgi olarak;ilk denemelerimde Yanlış hatırlamıyorsam
iastor6 ve iastor9 hatalarıda almıştım.

Setresolution ise konu uzadığı için karıştı.Ben anlatacağım ama sana zahmet sende bir yazarsın.
Setresolution la ilgili 2 denemem oldu.Denemelerde gena ve setresolution son version-21.08.2012 yani.
Ayarlar: Native 1280x800 / virtual 1024x768

1)Usb ile direk laptop üzerinden (yani sanal makine YOK.)
burada sistem 1280x800 açılmalı ve loga baktığımızda ne olmalı:Native 1280x800 olmalı değil mi?(Ben çalışan eski
version log uda göndermiştim.)Ama ''Virtual Machine resolution successfully set to: 1024x768, 32.''yazıyor ve
sistem 1024x768 açılıyor.(Bu arada cd de de aynı hata mevcut.)Görüldüğü gibi ben sanal makinede
çalışmıyorum.Gönderdiğim çalışan eski logda sistem native yazıyor ve 1280x800 açılıyor sistem.

2)Vmware üzerinden herhangi sorun yok.(USB kullanmıyorum.İso yu cd içindenden gösterip sanal ortamda
açtırıyorum.)virtual 1024x768 olarak açılıyor.Bunu extradan deneme amaçlı yaptım.

I feel it is again INTEL doing something awkward.. (maybe they forgot to support an hardware on their latest driver dps uses....... etc. etc..... )
Good news, he had installed a sata driver updated xp-32 on this ahci-enabled laptop about a year ago, but he wrote he tried testing drivers on xp source cd, I adviced him to find actual working drivers on windows-xp by using Smart Driver Backup,
I guess finding hwidVEN_8086&DEV_1C03 by searching inside inf files of saved "Smart Driver Backup" ? or maybe there is a nicer way to match hwid through device manager to find relevant .sys...
also, this way you can ask him to provide his actual working driver, so you can check/compare .sys files, send dps etc...... whatever.......

btw, he also says my 2nd ready iso fails, so maybe time coming close knock dps since 2nd iso prepared with fully dps way..... (you have link and info)

Eger ben geri gelene kadar Galapo ile cozemezseniz,
yazdiklarini en bastan sona okuyup cozumleyemeye calisirim, kafasi karisan bir ben degilim, Galapo nun cevaplarindan onunda olaylari gormekte gucluk cektigini hissetdigimden (sorun tr enu degil ;)) durumu izah edeyim dedim, ... yinede ufak tefek bisi olursa buralarda olurum, nede olsa internet heryerde, bir gozumde hep theoven da ;)
yanlis anlama olmasin, zamansizliktan, bu sorunun cozulmesini isterim, bende Gena ile tanistigimda benzer sorunlarim olmustu........
sorununun kaynagi tespit edilince hersey cok kolay gorunecektir, ama o noktaya gelirken katedilen yol bagzen uzun bagzen kisadir, birkac senedir sorun cozumu adina yapilan en uzun mesajli konu bu oldu ;) ...
aklinda bulunsun, bluelife gibi bizde bu ise hobi amacli girdik, ne reklam ne baska bir gelirimiz yok, ben nt5 (xp-2k3) cok severim, ordan bulastim, neticede mesaimiz baska oldugundan ve su siralar da yogun oldugumuzdan elimizden geldigince bisiler yapiyoruz (eskiden tatillerde bol bol ugrasirdik, ama bu subattan sonra bu vakti bile zor bulurum gibime geliyor, yinede vakit oldukca bisiler yapmaya devam ;) .......)

benim uzmanligim ne ahci, ne driver ne setresolution, bu projelerde daha cok koordinasyon ve destek kisminda gorev aliyorum, eskisi gibi heyecanli gelistirme-arastirma olaylarina zamanim yok, zaten projeler saglam ve kolay guncellenecek halde ve olgunlukta oldugundan pek zamanimini almiyor (du ;)), senin sorununda Gena ile ilgili degil zaten.... (ariza intel-dps gibi gibi....)
Galapo ve Ben cok aktif olsakta (forum ve projelerden sorumlu olarak, sorumluluk duyarak) diger uzmanlik gerekli konularda baskalari da devreye girer.... (onlarin Galapo ve benim kadar bile zamanlari yok)

Yukarıda sony vaio sata II dede çalışmadığını windows boot
ekranından sonra boş siyah ekranın geldiğini ve hiçbir kısayolun çalımadığını öylece beklediğini yazdım.Yine cd
den çalışıyor.senin gönderdiğin iso.(Denemelerimdeki iso da bu.)Muhtemel bütün isolarda çalışacaktır cd den.Sata
ahci ayarı yok.Auto herhalde.Kısaca olay sadece benim laptop ile sınırlı kalmadı.

cd den calisiyor dediginde, disklerine erisemiyorsan ?? ordada surucu calisamiyor diyebiliriz (daha once cd den calistirdiginda disklere erisemedigini yazmistin)

grub4dos un mem opsiyonu ile calistirmak ile cd den calistirmak arasinda normalde fark olmamasi gerekir,
birinde calisip diger durumda calisamamasi kafayi en cok karistiran durum....
pe lerde beklenti (zaten ms in pe dizayni bu), her iki durumda da pe nin acilmasi yonundedir, cogunlukla sorun pe nin acilmasi degil disklere erisilememesi seklinde olur, bu da surucu eksikligini (yada surucu vardir da hwidi eksiktir, en sık sorun bu olur) gosterir.............

son gonderdigim .iso oncekinden farkli idi, onunda calismadigini soylediginden.... bakalim......

Şimdi olayları biraz netleştirmeye gelelim;(Olmazsa Bunu imza gibi yapayım eng de yazarım her konumda durur.)
Aşağıda yazdığım denemeler kısımları kendi oluşturduğum ISO da Yapılmıştır yani wim yok.
Çalışmaya fujitsu laptopu aldığımızda içinde sistem yoktu.Sistemi ben kurdum.Evet normal XP kurulmadı.Bende sata
driver entegreli 09.2011 tarihli bir XP yi kurdum.sorun çıkmadı ve hala çalışıyor.Üstünede 2. sistem olarak bir
win7 kurdum sorunsuz çalışıyorlar.Ben xp cd sinin içindeki sata driverlarıda gena ya entegre etmeyi
düşünmüştüm.(IASTOR.SY_/IASTOR2.SY_/IASTOR3.SY_/IASTOR9.SY_) O zaman saçma gelmişti ama şimdi Usb üstünden
denedim sonuç olumsuz video driver failed-ahci açık-kapalı.Ide laptop umda ise çalışıyor.(Bu dosyaları dps deki
ler ile değiştirdim.İso oluştuktan sonra ultra iso ile açıp.Bu arada DPS içinde IASTOR9.SY_ yoktu.)

Denemelerin icin kulanacagin surucu leri cd den degil calisan xp-32bit den almalisin, daha hizli ve dogru bulursun. 
Gena\Apps\System Tools-->Smart Driver Backup var, "Launch" butonuna tikladiginda program calisir, orda saklayip deneyecegin (calisan) suruculeri bulursun...
arama yaparken inf dosyalarinin icinde sana ariza cikaran hwid numarasini bulursan ( aha once Galapo nun yazdigi VEN_8086&DEV_1C03 tabi hangi donanim/laptop icin yazildi ise o.....), deneme yapacagin dogru surucuyu buldun demektir..... (zaten 1 tane bulacaksin, 10 tane deneme yapman gerekmiyor)
dosya adina aldirma, Galapo nun sana soyledigi dosya ismi yapacagin Gena-dps-degisikliginde olmasi gereken dosya ismi, windows undaki dosya .sys ismi farkli olacaktir....
Eger bu sekilde calistirabilirsen, buyuk bir adim olur.....

Ahci configuration /Kapanırsa Windows açılmıyor.

sıkıcı bir durum,
ahci li ahcisiz calisan suruculerini tespit ettiginde, bu sorunda cozersin, bu sayede windows-xp her daim (ahci on-off)  calismis olur....

not: diskleri sata moduna aldiginda ahci alt opsiyonu da acilir, sata modundan cikardiginda diskler ide calisir ama cd/dvd sata (laptop) ise bu seferde o iptal olur.

1)Usb ile direk laptop üzerinden (yani sanal makine YOK.)
burada sistem 1280x800 açılmalı ve loga baktığımızda ne olmalı:Native 1280x800 olmalı değil mi?(Ben çalışan eski
version log uda göndermiştim.)Ama ''Virtual Machine resolution successfully set to: 1024x768, 32.''yazıyor ve
sistem 1024x768 açılıyor.(Bu arada cd de de aynı hata mevcut.)Görüldüğü gibi ben sanal makinede
çalışmıyorum.Gönderdiğim çalışan eski logda sistem native yazıyor ve 1280x800 açılıyor sistem.

Yukarda ne demek istedigini anladim, Galapo ya yukarda yazdim,
ek olarak:
sistem eger 1280x800 de acilabiliyorsa acilir, yoksa acilmaz, donanimdan donanima degisir....
Gena ile multires geliyordu
Gena\Apps\Supplementary\Graphics->multires
Gana acildiktan sonra sag altta ikonu olacak,
sistem acildiktan sonra ona tikla, listede 1280x800 32 gorebiliyor musun ? ve goruyorsan onu tikladiginda cozunurluk degisiyor mu ? eger 2 side evet se tabiki sorun setresolution da...
tabi sen reply2 de 1280x800 e manual gecebildigini yazdin, bu bana ilginc geldi cunku vga.sys (gena standart surucusu) nin boyle bir cozunurlugu desteklemedigini dusunuyordum, daha once genis ekran cozunurluk alamadigini soyleyenler olmustu, ya sen kendi grafik (gpu) surucunu yukledin, ya da vga.sys 1280x800 destekliyormus ama senden oncekiler manual olarak becerememis..., her halukarda yeni bisi ogrenmis oldum 




Benden bu kadar, acil bisi (kisa ceviri yada ne gerekirse) cikarsa firsat bulabildigimde yardimci olurum,
