If you have already MDOP 2013 or MSDaRT801.msi (8 SP1) have you looked at the differences with the version 8.
If yes, is that your redistributable DaRT 8 script remains compatible with this Service Pack 1.

Don't know yet. I do have it.

My son and I each have a desktop and a laptop. Or at least we did. In the last month three of them have crashed, two of them apparently beyond hope. My main machine decided yesterday that it didn't have a RAID controller anymore, and therefore couldn't boot. Luckily I had bough a replacement on a great deal a couple of weeks ago. The new machine is nearly set up, and the major task remaining is to transfer the non-RAID data disk into it.

Plus I've had two out of two USB 3 external drive holders, into which you can hotplug either a 3.5" or 2.5" disk, fail on me. Two different manufacturers. One of them holding the disk on which I keep my build sources. I think I'm not going to get any more of those!

DaRT 8.01 definitely does not drop in to the script and work. I fear that, with all the .NET 4 stuff I see in the files and in the registry, it needs .NET 4.0. (I have the MS Visual C++ runtime script enabled with all options checked). Anyone got a .NET 4.0 plugin?

It appears to be impossible to extract the files from the MDOP .MSI files. Some of the critical files are not there, being built when the DaRT ISO is created. For example, DartConfig.dat.
