Unfortunately the plugin is still not working for me, same error as before

Retrieve - Failed to retrieve the file version from: [%BaseDir%\Target\Win8PESE\Program Files\Acronis\DiskDirector\DiskDirector.exe] - File does not exist:

However now WinBuilder halts, rather than continuing execution.

So what I have done is I have started from scratch

I am using Complete Package: Win8PE_SE_2016-12-23.zip

Project is in folder: F:\Win8PE

Source is supported

Source is in F:\S\Win8_x64

Ran plugin: Update Win8PESE (Exact and Secure)

Download plugin: Downloads\AppYGS\HD Tasks\Acronis Disk Director WinPE (Prz42)
BTW what is the difference between AppYGS and AppsGS as there is also a version of the plugin listed there?

Plugin version is v.18

- Import Installed Key
- Provide Files WinPE64.zip located in F:\Win8PE\Workbench\Common\Apps\Acronis_DiskDirector_Files_WinPE

For the record my installation of Acronis DD 12 is functional and licensed.

Plugin DD12  (Prz42) is on Win10PESE_x64 not working. I have installed trial version DD12 without serial number.
Recovery does. Always no DiskDirektor.exe found 
So I have made my own x64 Plugin.

no surprise Acronis Disk Director plugin fails without DiskDirector.exe 

It is %100 end user fault. Something naturally happens time to time with "Provide File" type plugins

I update both plugins

1) with a provide files check ( DiskDirector.exe ) to be sure end user provide right files.

2) I put a 2nd Info button, a tutorial to provide WinPE64.zip WinPE32.zip from Acronis Disk Director 12 setup.exe

Prehistory: ADD12_trial refuses to install x64 version in Windows 10.  But MediaBuilder outputs AcronisMedia.ISO with x64-DD12 on WinPE_8.1;
I took Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit for Windows 8.1 Update [ver: Windows Version 6.3.9600].

Now tested Plugin v20:
It works now. The 64-Bit DiskDirector.exe  ~21 MB is in WinPE64.zip; and ADD12_trial (Build 3270) outputs WinPE64.zip & WinPE32.zip to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE

• ADD12 trial, newest Build; here #3270. Earlier versions, ex: #3219 don't have DiskDirector.exe in WinPE64.zip
• 'Provide Files'-folder .\Win10PESE\Workbench\Common\Apps\Acronis_DiskDirector_Files_WinPE <-- empty.
• Let run Plugin untouched. Just Source in Builder: Win10 x64 Enterprise

(for testing: 'With Scsi support'.)

Thanks for looking into this for me.

For the record I did not "build" the WinPE64.zip file, I copied the file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\DiskDirector\WinPE

so the issue in this instance was that the provided file did not have the correct contents

Last week without having free time and with not being Acronis DD user,
 I guessed that too, That is the reason my first response to your post was:

From logs, it seems to me:
 Inside plugin, you forgot to verify provided files are correct.

Anyway, now there is better instructions to provide files, let us know how things goes with new Acronis DD plugin(s).

OK well good news the plugin is finally working for me 

A little bit of an explanation for those who happen to encounter an issue with DiskDirector.exe in the future.

As @Lancelot pointed out, my WinPE64.zip did not contain DiskDirector.exe - I was somewhat annoyed by this as I wasted a stack of time because the supplied file was wrong. So initially I followed Lancelot's instructions to obtain the WinPE file from the trial so that I could find out where the DiskDirector file should be. I then modified the supplied ZIP file and added DiskDirector.exe into the Files directory. Surprisingly (to me at least) the plugin still complained about the fact that DiskDirector.exe was missing.

So in the end I just nuked the original WinPE file and used the one from the trial version. Which the plugin was happy with.

%pTextBox2% is still referenced twice on lines 185 and 186 with no apparent entry in the interface
so I guess I was confused by your reply
