Under "components" the "IE proxy settings" v5 script don't work. I am using the latest Win8.1SE.

any chance of getting this looked at?

Cheers and thank you for the hard work, I am much obliged!

Seb

Hi seb,

You're right , IE proxy with sherpya's XPEinit.exe, which worked so far, no longer works with Win8.1SE OS build.
The values DefaultConnectionSettings and SavedLegacySettings are different.
Key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections

By cons, direct writing at build time of ProxyEnable, ProxyServer and ProxyOverride seems to work in Win8.1SE OS.
Key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

I've updated the plugin to be compatible with NT5, NT6 and Win8.1, if can you try it.

MY MAN! that was fast!

I will give this a go this afternoon and let you know!

I remember years ago when you first create win7pese and the ie proxy script didn't even exist you showed how to edit it manually in the .script so it imported correctly my prtoxy settings in the registry. Here we are like 3-4 years later and you are still giving me help! this is really appreciated Chris! I owe you so many beers!

un GROS merci!

Sebastien

Salut, Sebastien, comme tout les sebastiens, Seb

Great, thank you for confirmation , IE proxy is on server.

Here we are like 3-4 years later and you are still giving me help! this is really appreciated Chris! I owe you so many beers!
Thank you, a fresh Coronna with a lemon zest, please  :drunk:
Almost 4 years, indeed, I learned a lot since I started, experienced guys on PE have laughed, certainly
A little weary and lack of time, now. I must leave space for others

A bientôt

First, I really do appreciate all guy's effort.  :great:
And sorry for my poor english.

By cons, direct writing at build time of ProxyEnable, ProxyServer and ProxyOverride seems to work in Win8.1SE OS.
Key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Writing at build time will have no problem. In Win8.1SE PE(not OS mode) I wrote that key/value manually with regedit after PE started up, but my proxy settings are not displayed in internet options of IE11 and does not work.

However Configuring the setting of poxy in internet options, they are also reflected to registry key/value and the proxy works fine.

My goal is that I run the original vbscript with RegWrite method to enable proxy. Strange to say, registry key/value written by vbs are reset at starting IE11.

Please tell me solution.
