Just wanted to let you know that c't magazine released the 2020 version of "their" version of WIN10XPE. Details can downloads can be found here: https://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/c-t-Notfall-Windows-2020-4514169.html

If anybody is interested in more details, please let me know. I had a quick view only so far and found nothing special about this, except some c't specific versions of tools (e.g. snapshot 1 year full version).

They used PEBakery instead of WINBuilder...

here is the download link to "their" Project > https://cdnpcf.heise.de/ctnotwin20.zip
It uses PEBakery as the builder and has a limited number of New c't Mag Apps

One could create a subfolder > MoPlugins/Apps/Ct Mag
and copy any new App from their release into XPE

Just stating that C'T (Heise) is an *extremely* reputable German PC magazine.
Looking at this now.

An **extremely** reputable magazine which takes a project which is not created by them, adding a limited number of c't mag apps, and then publishing it without any thanks etc to those on this forum who created it and do all the work on it?

We obviously have a completely different understanding of the term reputable then it seems......

There is a "Original-Projekt Homepage Win10XPE auf TheOven.org" link at script.project.
And there is a additional donate button to ChrisR's WinPESE

Wrong! I was actually astounded that in the official article they not only credited and praised the project, they even encouraged people to donate. I have not often seen something like that in a high profile computer magazine. Just from reading the article I actually had the impression that the article was made sortof in collaboration with the TheOven project - but of course I could be wrong.

It's ridiculous how you interpret C'T, which is really one of the most renowned PC magazines available for many decades, with an article full of praise AND asking for donations as a "bad thing". Cheezus christ. If anything, this should give this project massive, massive exposure.

Well as I pointed out a lot of people are using XPE for their Distributions...
But, Since we are the Development Forum - We really do not link to Other Distributions of the Projects...

I do look at Other Distributions and I know they are by Members seen lurking around this forum...
The C'T Magazine's Special Edition Apps where re-created for distribution in this forum...

I do not know if German PC magazine reputable or not.

But whoever at German PC magazine never made things correct or respectful way (I guess Mark ! ) with the creation of package once a year.
-> At first (VistaPE times) he was creating a "loader" and change project name etc. to give the impression all done by "German PC magazine"
---> later with a disability to create a loader (build became more complex) only change Project Name to give the impression all done by "German PC magazine"
------> later since changing ProjectName became too complex keep project name but still no link or etc. on plugins
---------> later (I guess 5 years later) since there are lots of links on plugins and we always put posts of annoyance, had to put a link to magazine and page, but still creating package in a bad way since the beginning.....
.......

~ Summary of 10 years or more about German PC magazine distributed package once a year.

No respect on my side about the package Mark or whoever at German PC magazine creates,
I am sure he also has his fabricated reasons behind.
