Hi
Some times before I could unlock drive by Bitlcoker ecovery key via GUI not mange-bde console.
Currently I cannot see unlock drive by clicking on encrypted drive.
Before I could even  turn off bitlocker via GUI.
Is it possible to change bitlocker script?

Regards

Jurek

Hi Jurek,

I just retest, I have well the "unlock drive" option in the drives context menu and the gui then!

How long before and what version of Bit Locker plugin, you had when it worked ?
What happens if you run bdeunlock.exe C: (or others locked drive) ?
What do you have in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\unlock-bde (and command sub key) ?

Hi
I just test again with default settings ( bitlocker enable) and still the same :( ( no option Unlock drive in context menu)
After bdeunlock.exe C: I see "enter the 48-digit recovery key. (similar as enter password to unlock drive)

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\unlock-bde:
(Default)
@%SystemRoot%\System32\bdeunlock.exe,-100
AppliesTo
System.Volume.BitLockerProtection:=6
MultiSelectModel
Single

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\unlock-bde\command
(Default)
%SystemRoot%\System32\bdeunlock.exe %1

The registry seems OK, it should operate normally with the entry in the context menu, as here
I do not know how to query the "System.Volume.BitLockerProtection" for your drive C: to see its value, should be 6.
You can do some research on AQS Advanced Query Syntax.
To test, you can possibly remove or edit the AppliesTo key.

I think that It is better not to add Bitlocker in the control panel, its management is not complete.
The plugin for WinPE is essentially to unlock a drive, not to fully manage BitLocker.
