I have been successfully using the Win7PE SE for quite some time. After recently updating the scripts I am observing a strange behaviour.
I find it more convenient to have the taskbar at the top of the screen, especially when testing on virtual machines. But after the update the taskbar is always shown on the bottom of the screen irrespective of the options I select in the Explorer Shell script ( v42). After several trials and downloads, I have narrowed down the problem.
If  I uncheck the Autohide taskbar box in the Explorer Shell script, the taskbar is shown correctly in the selected location. But if I check that box the taskbar always defaults to the bottom.  It defies logic.

Since I do not have the earlier versions of the script I am not able to further pinpoint the problem.

Can any other user confirm this behavior of the new version of the script? Thanks in advance.

Actually easy to pinpoint the problem. Most taskbar settings are saved in 1 registry value.
And the auto hide option overwrites all previous options.
