I am using the latest Win7PE SE with the Internet Explorer plugin.

When the ISO is booting and just after the desktop taskbar is shown, something with a blank icon is displayed on the taskbar for a few seconds and then disappears.

It does not do this if I disable the Internet Explorer plugin.

I would like to stop this from being displayed in the taskbar.

I have looked through the plugin code but I cannot see an auto run entry.

Any ideas please?

I remember similar behaviour with Gena,
it is the nature of IE I assume at first boot., as ms said at Win9x-ME times IE integrates to os

Still you can research with an early start (execute) with procmon , and let us know.

I have checked this with Procmon, but I cannot find the problem.

Very annoying having that blank icon pop up for a few seconds.

I will have to ignore it for now until an expert like Lancelot looks at it

 I leave this task to an expert like apinux, IE never be my browser on a PE.

Well, I mainly focus on maintenance labor on plugins and forum for a while, technically easier with side by side real life, and a nice way to relax.
