Hi all,
this script may be a bit specific but I decided to release it anyway. It adds support for the USB-to serial chips from FTDI (Future Technology Devices International Ltd.).
The virtual COM will appear as COM3. Both cases (the chip is already connected via USB to the PC at startup or connected later on) work correctly.
NOTE: This script also requires my previously posted Ports script with at least COM support selected.
Required drivers (attached in the zip archive) must be present in the x86 folder selected in the Driver Integration
script (default: %GlobalTemplates%\Drivers_x86) and of course this script must also be activated
