As far as I remember from the past the WinBuilder vs. PEBakery Plugins (.Script and File.Script files) for older Win10XPE versions (e.g. from Dec 2019) were incompatible.
Is this still the case?
Are the plugins at least compatible from older PEBakery to newer PEBakery versions and
from older WinBuilder vs newer WinBuilder versions?
Assume I have a *.Script file with unknown relationsship.
How can I check whether this *.script file belongs to WinBuilder or to PEBakery?
Thank you

Yes
Assume I have a *.Script file with unknown relationsship.
Apart from the obvious name in most cases ie BurnDataCD_XPE.script
line 3 of the file will have Type=XPEPlugin or Type=Plugin if written to current standards
nb. a large number (most) of XPEPlugins also have a related file ie BurnDataCD_XPE_File.Script to which the initial downloaded
app file is encoded into for subsequent runs, unless you use the Update button to download a newer version of the App.

Win10PE SE and Win10XPE are two of the projects available from here
Winbuilder and PEBakery are both builders
Not forgetting the Live System Pro project (LSP) that uses the .srt file extension (not .script)
