Two features not working (ISOwin1909x64): narrator settings, remote regedit

Hi again James, Hi everyone,

After doing some testings, with source= Windows1909x64 10.0.18362.418 (Index=Pro), I found that:

1. when opening narrator, it works, but right-clicking on the tray icon and asking for settings makes it instantly crash
Found no possible fix :(

2. Remote Regedit : fails with error
"The procedure entry point __CxxFramehandler4 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\system32\shell32.dll"
I found it can be fixed by replacing regedit.exe in X:\Windows with an older version.

So any idea ? I searched the forum but found nothing about those...

Can anyone please at least confirm the problem with Narrator ?

Narrator works fine - I do not get a 'Tray Icon" or "Settings" with 18631 or 19041

If you don't have get a tray icon for Narrator then, you can't turn it off, right? so something is wrong ...
With 18362 I get the tray icon, with turn off option, but settings crash.
With 17763 I get the tray icon, with settings working (but with 17763 there are other serious stability problems).

it was a typo in prior post - should of been 18362 & 19041
I do not get setting or tray icon with "Basic Build"

runscanner has some command line options which may help with shell32 being loaded from the target os instead of the host os ( /xs ). See docs at paraglider's website http://www.paraglidernc.com/winbuilder/Scripts/Runscanner2.htm
