Hi lucdeluc
In my experiences, using "fullwinre.wim" instead of "full winre.wim with light winsxs" makes PE size larger. And I didn't notice any differences between two options, so I always use default one, full winre.wim with light winsxs option.  I don't have any idea what all windows catalogs means, and I don't use this option either.
As for scanner, I was looking forward to someone answer your question. Because just like you, I can install printer but failed on scanner.
That's all I can tell you :great:

The Scan function uses Twain - which is not included in the Printer Support Application

In the old days, we used to know it as "Technology Without An Interesting Name."

thankyou very much for all replys
so for the moment no solutions?
hope someone can help me for scanner (twain) support and maybe for camera ( in other words imaging devices)
for the moment im using a live version of xubuntu 18.4.5 that offers a full support for printers and scanners when i need them, but thats only a workaround, i prefer if its possible directly in winxpe

Hi

I'm afraid that asking for windows features/functions that are non-standard in a PE
you really have to hope that someone has enough interest to invest a lot of their spare hobby time on it.
I'm guessing, from the general lack of interest, that might not be the case - but you never know what the likes of noelBlanc are looking into!
