I updated the 2 packages 20111018 with small corrections needed :
Removing SSShim.dll (not redistributable) in tools which is used for vista driverintegration (Some scripts are Vista compatible but not the entire project).
Explorer shell, uncheck the "enable shutdown button" checkbox, the ShutdownPE's integration is enabled, one option or the other, thanks Homes32

Fix a wandering quote in NetworkCenter script, thanks MagicAndre1981.
Line 106 : DirMake,%targetdir%\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" ==> DirMake,%targetdir%\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

ImgBurn ISO updated to v2.5.6.0, freshly updated by Galapo.

Those who have already downloaded, outside ImgBurn, you can do it manually.

Download Server w7pese.cwcodes.net is available.
Win7PE SE Home Page http://w7pese.cwcodes.net/

with the server, "Update Win7PE SE (Exact and Secure)" script works also

Thanks Galapo for the nice website and Thanks to Arvy for website base files

Thanks ChrisR and everyone else who made w7pese possible. I just built a 7 PE with net, firefox, pidgin, audio + 1by1, video (ati driver) + smplayer and apps like irfanview, defraggler, recuva, all in a 290MB ISO.

Might just switch from XP PE to this one. Actually for most people who only seem to use PCs for browsing/chatting/music this is all they need. Much quicker than a regular OS too.

btw : What's the best way to get olepro32.dll into the build ? Right now, I'm including it in the 1by1 folder.

Hi gbrao,

use
Require_FileQ,olepro32.dll
ex:
http://www.mediafire.com/?y74lzbfizo44y9e

Tip1: Above is quick way, If you are creating scripts for your applications, SC scripts give you a ready line to customize easly ( http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=178.0 )

Tip2: Since you are switching, using Win7PE_SE\Share Scripts-->Get Links From-->Gena (+Yomi) will give you wide set of apps

Hi gbrao,

With Share Scripts , you can do a custom build with many apps very quickly .
If needed, in addition to all the great Gena (Yomi & VistaPE) scripts.

Tip3: also uses Share Scripts -->Get Links From--> MyScripts , for your own Additional scripts. Much easier to share with Gena, Win7PE SE (one source for your script), for maintaining and then with project updates ...

w7pese.cwcodes.net server becomes out of sync with the live CD package you provide for download.
I can't build ISO using winbuilder just using the server above (due to mass "image must be unmounted first" errors), but can do this unpacking your CD project sources to the winbuilder directory. Yes, I try to add all imagex etc. exe/dlls you mention first. It will be more easy to not search them in WAIK msi/cabs, but just grab them from your project sources.

(due to mass "image must be unmounted first" errors)
Can you provide a log file,
with default (fresh) downloaded project from server (default settings),
Main Configuration-->Enable "Create Support Log"

First ones are due to empty %BootSRC" and %InstallSRC% which are readed from [IniVariables] (not from [Variables]) and they are empty in fact there in the script.project [IniVariables] section from the server, but not present in that section in the script.project you have with your CD. If I fix them by hand, I have another error telling than wimgapi.dll is missing (it is not). At this point I stop looking further and just use what you have with your CD. BTW, portable Opera is missing on the server config too, it seems it goes south in many ways.

I mean that check. Due to empty %BootSRC% and %InstallSRC% it takes c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe which exists
Set,%mountchk%,np
If,ExistFile,%BootSRC%\Windows\System32\cmd.exe,Set,%mountchk%,ah
If,ExistFile,%InstallSRC%\Windows\System32\cmd.exe,Set,%mountchk%,ah

Try this one for the "First ones"
http://www.mediafire.com/?jjy7s9sdaj5ooqz
I guess this one is ok now ?

if this is ok now,
so left is "wimgapi missing one", or maybe it is also fixed ??
if not, better provide log file as described before

Thanx, with your config standard set at least (I don't try to tweak it yet) builds and boots successfully.

BTW, "Share Scripts" section, "Get Links From" "Gena" just creates several empty directories with no content.

Good, updated on server  :great:

*
The reason this missed from eyes is,
mostly "Extract Wim Folders"
http://TheOven.org/index.php?topic=228
used on builds by developers and frequent users

*
"Get Links From" "Gena" would work properly when you have* Gena SidebySide with W7PE SE ..
when you do not have, nothing to get....
with other words, download Gena from server

=> Same valid for others, also check "Yomi" http://TheOven.org/index.php?topic=175

Good night

ah, and about additional tools files,
well, they can not be hold on server,
and verrry *mostly W7PE SE would work okey without them.

still, this would ease obtaining them http://www.mediafire.com/?1p5o8gzp3bsjbl5

Thanx for all your hints!

Just to note: main project page instructions and CD announce instructions are possible misleading in some point: bcdedit.exe is not in WAIK 3.0 (at least for x86 I try to install very first time following them), there is unneeded bcdboot.exe only (in Neutral.cab). bcdedit.exe (newer version) can be just copied from system32.
