Hello,

I wanted to ask you if you had the same problem when compiling data

If I compile leaving everything default (I choose the Windows 7 DVD as source) and I run the compilation, it works very well, by cons, if I add a program (hiren's boot CD, Portable Apps, or other program ) compilation bug in the phase (PostConfig) it hangs when it is "Copy the other folder in target Image, be patient..." So the HDD indicator shows that there have activity but nothing happens and the window freezes, unresponsive and therefore obliged to kill the process in task manager (I have left the program worked 3 hour but nothing happens)

I wanted to know if you are aware of this problem (namely that I have complied with the tutorial,) even add a "Driver Package" folder in the program maked the bug also (in the same place "PostConfig" )

I cannot have LOGS due to need to Kill process for exiting the program.

if I have another question that have nothing to do with this problem:

I wanted to know if it was possible to interger keyboard support: Swiss French (QWERTZ)?

Thank you in advance for the answer.

Cordially.

Hi etienne2000,

For your copy problem, I do not know, maybe a problem with your AV, trying to put the entire Win7PESE folder in the execptions.

For your Swiss French (QWERTZ) keyboard, you can try in the Main configuration to choose Import HostOS for the keyboard.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer,

For the "Copy" problem, i have resolve them, I have making "Erase temporary data" and now it's working fine.

For the Swiss french, "Import HostOS" don't work,  (the program is launched on windows XP) But i can add it to the WIn7PE (inclued all keyboard) so after booted, i go in language configuration, keyboard and i change it for swiss french.

Cordially.

hi etienne2000

I use the following script for my Swiss german builds.
I think, there are not many changes necessary for Swiss french,
compare with your real live Windows:

@Fuwi, if you allow me, I will add your Swiss german configuration in w7(8)pese
for it benefits other.

Etienne2000, In addition, you can also make the changes directly in the PE
With Regional and Language Options in Control Panel, time zone...
and export the registry following the keys given by Fuwi with your values.
For Timezone you should find what you need in Main Configuration without rewriting, Fonts seem already here by default.

for your Swiss French keyboard part, this should do the trick (with the keyboard in the order: swiss french, swiss german and en-us) :

Code: [Select]
Echo,"Processing Swiss French..."
If,Not,ExistFile,%TargetDir%\Windows\System32\KBDSF.DLL,FileCopy,%BootSRC%\Windows\System32\KBDSF.DLL,%TargetDir%\Windows\System32
If,Not,ExistFile,%TargetDir%\Windows\System32\KBDSG.DLL,FileCopy,%BootSRC%\Windows\System32\KBDSG.DLL,%TargetDir%\Windows\System32
RegHiveLoad,Tmp_Default,%RegDefault%
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Default\Keyboard Layout\Preload",1,d001100c
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Default\Keyboard Layout\Preload",2,0000100c
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Default\Keyboard Layout\Preload",3,00000409
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Default\Keyboard Layout\Substitutes",0000100c,00000807
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Default\Keyboard Layout\Substitutes",d001100c,0000100c
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_Default\Software\Microsoft\CTF\Assemblies\0x0000100c\{34745C63-B2F0-4784-8B67-5E12C8701A31},Default,{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_Default\Software\Microsoft\CTF\Assemblies\0x0000100c\{34745C63-B2F0-4784-8B67-5E12C8701A31},Profile,{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_Default\Software\Microsoft\CTF\Assemblies\0x0000100c\{34745C63-B2F0-4784-8B67-5E12C8701A31},KeyboardLayout,269225996
RegHiveUnLoad,Tmp_Default

If you use Fuwi's script above, change Tmp_Default to WB-Default (or vice versa) and remove RegHiveLoad RegHiveUnLoad for not to load 2 times the registry default hive.
Once good, thank you for sharing it for other or to put it as a choice in the project.

Hello,

I will test this in next Hour,

I halso have resolved a problem with driver, i have make "PE Network driver integration" but that not working (after lauched PE Network, have not installed Widi Device)

I have maked with the driver (LAN and WLAN) from the Hiren's boot cd Mini XP a self extractable archive (automaticly extract to %Systemroot% and launch automaticly PE NEtwork after extract, it's fit perfect in Portable Apps System (need to place the self extracting archive (.sfx.exe) in the postable apps folder and after actualisng the menu, you can place it into the category of your choice, and after you boot your win7PE, launch the archive will copy all LAN WLAN drivers and launch PE NEtwork, and it's work fine, the drivers is for windows XP (driver in windows XP HBCD folder) but it look working on my Win7PE ;)
Yes is not an Script but, if you have problem with intergation of WLAN drivers, it's a good working solution (and it's also working with XP PE)

I test now an another Driver integration from he WinPE SE software, i will notify you is that working.

Just a question, the driver package, when is launched, is automaticly install the driver?

For this code, i just tip this in notepad and register it as "filename.script" and add it to "Tweak" folder in Winpese ?

I thought you knew a bit, here is the script, to put in the build folder.
Based on fuwi's script, it has only the French Swiss keyboard part.
* Swiss_French_kbd_for_w7pe.script (6.06 kB - downloaded 162 times.)

If you need the full localization (CodePage, Language, Locale, International, International, TimeZoneInformation),
Uses fuwi's script by adapting it with your Swiss french value.

Hello, i have tested the Swiss German script form fuwi, when winPe starting, the mouse go on a black screen and nothing happen after that.
I use the following script for my Swiss german builds.
I think, there are not many changes necessary for Swiss french,
compare with your real live Windows:

i have also problem with driver pack, i chose a pack, install but after said install, i have no updated driver, have no change.
Use Driver Integration in Drivers folder, click explore x86 or x64 according to your arch win7 source.
put your "win7" drivers or driverpacks inside the folder.
Note: Driver packages needs to be decompressed (*.inf) and Sub folder are allowed.
That's all, at the next building, they will be integrated.

I will try this, but i will not add all driver, all thiver pack unpacked make more than 4Gb, so i search a  solution for making working a after boot driver installation same as the Driveforge (Driveforge make an error when installing driver)

I will take Lan and WLAN driver (it's the most primary driver for WinPe) to integration driver, but for all other driver, i need an other solution.

I will also test your swiss french script tomorow to see if tha'ts working ;)
