There is any plugin or someone was try to add the wincap Driver?

I want to made a plugin for Wireshark but need the wincap.

Im Just asking before to try, will try to add it anyway, but if someone was trying before me will be nice his advices.

Homes32 had made Wireshark (+ wincap ) plugins in very past,
 I am not sure if he maintains , besides it will give you critical info  :thumbsup:

For those who need it.. i found a Portable Version of Wireshark in Portableapps.com that install the wincap driver on the aplication startup. It works really good. So problem solved for now.

Just came to my mind,
if only WinPcap required for another application,
(of if you can't find portable version of an application)
check google for:
winpcap unattended install
 :wink:

writing a simple .cmd would to the trick  :wink:



This method is also valid for most applications  :wink:
Only bad side, it will use free space on X:  , so don't do this "unattended install" trick with big applications :wink:
