I'm working on getting new antivirus programs for my Win7PESE disc, since many of the old AV scripts aren't working (including the Kaspersky AV). So I've decided to settle on downloading portable AVs and wanted to make a script that could copy the downloaded files to the pstart script and add them to the list.

The reason I want to do this separately, is mainly that updating Win7PESE project will delete those settings. I've already moved many scripts I use to a custom folder and used the projects ability to link external folders to  avoid them getting overwritten.

I'm using the Update Win7PE SE (Exact and Secure) when updating. I don't like the typical download method since it leaves lost scripts on occasion. I also don't trust the plugin manager with my settings since I've seen it mess up some scripts like 7zip.

So my solution so far has been to make a copy of pstart, disable the original, and modify it to upgrade the AV programs. However, I'm aware that by doing so, I won't be able to update to a new pstart (portable apps) script. Only good thing is that the last update was in 2013 .

So that's the question, is it possible to alter pstart from a secondary script, to add new portable apps to it?
