Hi All,
I'm adding some ISO images to my build, and I have these added under OtherOS/ISO Image
Acronis True Image 2014
CloneZilla
Ubuntu Rescue Remix
UBCD

None of them work, they all tell me the file can't be found, but the ISO is on the stick in the location it's looking.

I have the mapping set to Both.

I thought maybe the files weren't contiguous, so I tried the CTRL-F2 in RMPrepUSB and it says all the files are contiguous.

I have two floppy images working fine.
Ghost Boot Floppy
Win98 Boot Disk with Zap

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi

Not all ISO images are compatible with "Grub4DOS". Some of them are hard coded to work from a real CD and some will work from a USB via "flat file boot".

To boot Ubuntu based distros, please refer http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/ubuntu . Simply adjust the "Kernel" line to match your Ubuntu derivative CD and it will work. I have success in booting "Boot Repair Disc" ( an Ubuntu based GRUB re-install disc ) from an ISO this way.

UBCD requires flat file boot - http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/ubcd
